hi guys I have just returned from partying in Ayia Napa with my 2 friends (all aged in our 30's) ,we had a great trouble free time and behaved impeccably respecting everyone around us ,now after meeting quite a few english ladies we also attempted a couple of times to speak to the beautiful russian ladies as well only to be treated like we were invisible....
the scene:
I wandered over to 3 ladies in the redsquare ,"said hello how are you?
me and my friends hoped that you were having a good time and wondered if you could understand us well enough to have a chat and a laff" (very vague but I'm sure you get the gist) ,to this I was greeted with 3 ladies feeling very uncomfortable and eager to get rid of us ,I tried my best to be nice but basically we had to give up when we began to be rudely ignored and made to look foolish unlike I might add the many successful greek men that we saw talking to these beautiful looking people all week.
has anybody got any idea why these ladies behaved that way as we never once resembled the lowtish piss-heads on holiday that the English reputation seems to portray in these resorts ,infact we are all young businessmen we stayed in a top class hotel and of course we knew how to behave abroad....
just to add to this little scenario on our journey home who should walk past us in the airport but these 3 same ladies ,as soon as they saw me they started laughing and waving at us as they left for their plane ,I pulled a friendly face and they giggled at me,this made me think oops maybe we may have read things wrong and possibly they didn't understand us afterall...but somehow I don't think so :0( ,gee I don't know has anybody got any answers please lol
