Russia, Byelorussia, Ukraine, Georgia ..... Kazakhsta, Kyrgistan, Mongolia, China, Koreas, Japan - and every one between

Etc, etc. you get the picture. It is difficult to think of any state that has not been built on what's come to be known as 'ethnic cleansing' !!!

Can you give us your thoughts on why you have been denied recognition . .

It seems that now you are left whimsically wondering whether you need this otherwise most fundamental principle of existence.

What will it really change??

hahahaha...man you are a spinner...show me a country were 99.99% of the inhibitants have been removed by force so the it can be declared a state...

Do your examples above reflect as to what has happened in Cyprus?...I say chalk and cheese...

None of my concern and not relevant to this discussion, you left tell tell signs as to who you are I pointed them out before...so I sometimes find your comments clouded in bias...such example is your above reply...

Justifying the ridiculous...

How did the date go with Kifeas????

You have been given example after example of why we have not got recognition and the "RoC" has but it seems that you do not want to listen. Read the Akritas Plan and it will tell you why. You cannot question that because it was written by your president so it must be true....

Are you setting up a dating forum, Zan?
There was no date with Kifeas who has had the misfortune to be deprived of his home and has ended up near my village . . as beautiful as it may be . .

Anyway I was asking for VP's thoughts on the matter . . as you stated, we have heard your endless excuses . . . unless you've come up with any novel ones . . you are soooo good at fiction

Phoenix,

I assume therefore that you accept you do not have recognition.
This is not a matter of assumption or acceptance, it is a legal fact. TRNC is not recognised. And ? What ?

Can you give us your thoughts on why you have been denied recognition . .
Here are some thoughts - fortunate, unfortunate, convenient, inconvenient, sad, happy, regretable, relieved, crucial, insignificant, more-trouble-than-its-worth, desperately-seeking-recognition ...

It seems that now you are left whimsically wondering whether you need this otherwise most fundamental principle of existence.

No, recognition is not a 'most fundamental principle of existence'. Just because you don't recognise someone passing by in the street doesn't meant that s/he doesn't exist. Similarly with legal recognition.

If you want novel then read your own history...What I am after is accuracy and that history is the same what ever angle you look at it from...It is the likes of you that keeps wanting to change it to suit.

As for Kifeas missing his home......I did not even know where mine was for decades. Now I have a home in the TRNC/KKTC. I feel for his loss but he has no concept of mine.

This is a cop out VP!

You ask if recognition is overrated as though you are pining for it. So to fix that and get your recognition you have to set things to rights.

Otherwise you have accepted that you are not recognized and all that comes with that will be denied you.

So what have you done wrong that the whole World refuses to recognize you?
