How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

withdrawal of troops

Postby theodore » Wed Sep 26, 2007 7:36 pm

Here in America many agree with the voice of many Cypriots for the withdrawal of troops from Cyprus.

"Turkey should begin the withdrawal of troops from Cyprus.
It worthy of note to read what the Chairman of the United States Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Senator Joseph Biden. The Senator is a presidential contestant in the Primary for the 2008 Democratic Nomination. The message was received by his Wilmington Helenic supporters from Biden's office.
"WASHINGTON, D.C., July 28, 2007 -- "Turkey should begin the withdrawal of troops from Cyprus. The presence of these forces is neither justified nor necessary and complicates efforts to return the island to a state of lasting peace," said the Chairman of the United States Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Senator Joseph Biden. "Since 2003, there have been millions of peaceful crossings at the Green Line that separates the island's two communities. Cypriots of all ethnicities have clearly demonstrated their ability to coexist," said Chairman Biden before the United States Senate on July 26, 2007"

We also believe that the norther Cyprus should not allow Syrian vassals to the ports because this is very highly looked ab on as grounds for terrorist activities in the northern Cyprus.
The northern Cyprus which is an illegal state and occupiers with illegal government this farther explain to the world there illegal activities in the country of Cyprus.
The recently visit there form the Turkish president which is the only country recognize the illegal state was nothing but a hole in the water the whole world does not recognize the northern Cyprus.
This will farther the bit to EU for Turkey with problems like this....

I am sure "many" in America have probably never heard of Cyprus and even the ones who have "many" will not be able to point to it on an Atlas. The last time I was in America (San Diego), I was asked by a bloke on a bus if I've ever met Queen Victoria.

Having said that, I'm sure Mr Bush will sort out the Cyprus problem just as soon as he's finished conquering the Middle East. Until then, they will have to wait in the queue I'm afraid. ;)

The world may say Turkiey should begin withdrawl of troops, however, if the international community does nothing about it as it has not done for many years now, Turkey will not withdraw anything. If the international community and the US have integrity they will slap Turkey with a BIG FAT economic embargo.

If they have done this in 33 years aint gonna happen any day soon, Turkey USA relations are far more important than 800.000 arrogant GCs. You thought the EU would slove all your problems but what have they done jack shit, no one cares you have to solve it yourselves and stop blaming everyone else.

VP I didn't think that the EU would have solved the problem at all. I also agree with you if it hasn'r happened in 33 years it wont happen any time soon. It takes two to tango mate and your leader has made it clear that he is not prepared to compromise.

I also don't count on the Americans to do anything either.

My God is this real a TC and a Cypriot agreeing? Wow that is amazing.
