Will it be the "RoC" that is isolated

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Is that why Oz has advertised all over the world for trades...The only requirement being that they speak English

yeah but look at the salary...nothing cheap here Zan...they will get the same as the locals...something you ommited to mention...we have labour laws mate and we guarantee human rights...

What do you mean by cheap labour Zan?...can you be a bit more specific?..for example can the UK import cheap labour from China and pay them US$5 per day, with 1 meal/day and accomodation?...is this what you mean?...Please clarify...I would like to know the labour laws in the UK...

When my people break out of your siege then anything they do that helps that I will be proud of.....There is more than one way to skin a cat mate.....We are tired of waiting for you to do the right thing......

So you are just condoning criminality.
This is precisely what happens when criminals think they have got away with one crime (stealing the north of Cyprus) . . . they think they can continue with their life of crime and they are above the law.

You should be ashamed to endorse such a view . . I wish you didn't contaminate my island with such attitudes

Yopu are condoning the "RoC" and that is the crime of the century. We have no choice...what is your excuse..

The WHOLE world condones (recognizes) the RoC Zan.

Yeah? And what good has it done for you till now? Did it get you what you wanted?

They just dangled a carrot in front of you till they got what they wanted and now that they got it they will drop you like a hot potato.

What does that tell you about your stance?

You have been crying for decades and got nowhere, what does that tell you about your stance?

You are alone in your thinking because you are WRONG in your thinking.
Criminals to the end.

Criminals are those Greek Cypriot who tried to genocide us Turkish Cypriots and steal our lands in the name of ENOSIS. They got what they deserved and we got what we needed to be and stay safe.

Those who lost their lives and the refugees from both sides who suffered owe their suffering to the murdering terrorist scums of EOKA. The refugees are still suffering because you Greek Cypriots keep voting an EOKA terrorist as your "President" because you still hope that he will get you your ENOSIS. It is not going to happen and neither is unification because not only does your TPapskiller does not want it neither do the Greek Cypriots. Partition is there and it will stay, get used to it.

You do talk crap dont you foreigner. How many T/C victims of "GENOCIDE " 7 years prior to Turkish invasion. Do tell us . How about stolen land , you are a clown arent you !!

Stick your teeth in a glass of water and go to bed you old senile fool.

Minimum wage is the law in the UK Boomers!!

The point that OZ is nnot getting carried away with cheap labour was my point Boomer. They are not falling for the quick fix as the "RoC" and the rest of the world seems to be. Well done to them.

on the contrary Zan we use cheap labour all the time...but not in this country...we are happy to contribute offshore...like China in this case...One day the RoC will have to abide by these rules...its just too early...give it 3-5 years and you will see...They will become a fully fledge service economy...

what is the min wage in the UK Zan...here is about AUS$20 per hr, like in factories and waiters...an electrician, trades people, get min AUS$100 per hr...

If you are not getting that you are getting ripped off...time to migrate...

Time to move on and embrace your Turkishness and be proud Turkish Cypriots not just Cypriots for the sake of osmosis which GCs see as the natural process, you can all see we are wasting our time trying to negotiate with these people they only want one thing a GC state where you are a minority like the Indians in the UK, reduced to foreigner status in your own country. For non recognition is a state of mind, what we have to do i think positive, we have our own country and if the price to pay id non recognition and being Turkish as well as Cypriot I am will to pay that price ten times over as the alternative is with people who are like people on this forum is unthinkable.

Hear, hear VP.

These fools think that just because they got into the EU they are getting all the benefits of being recognised but fail to see the that the EU is just stringing them along and keeping them under their control. They are just too dumb to realise what really is going on.

For over 40 years they have been crying their eyes out, paying millions to foreign politicians, helping Presidents to be elected who promise them the moon and what do they get for it? Every now and then some never heard of before unknown politician in the USA or EU stands up and say "Oh yes, we think Cyprus should be unified" and sits down again and the GCs think "hooray, we won because we have everyone on our side".

What have they won?

Is the island united?

Is the Turkish army out?

Is the KKTC still there?

The only thing they can boast about is "but we are recognised and in the EU".......wooopppeeedoooooo........but what's the price they are paying for it?

The island is still divided. :D

The Turkey Army is still there protecting the Turkish Cypriots. :D

And the KKTC is still there. :D

Yep, I am willing to pay the price of being Turkish as well as Cypriot I am willing to pay that price ten times over as the alternative is living with people who are like people on this forum is unthinkable.

But hang on a minute VP............We are Turkish as well as Cypriots.......We have our own country and separated from racist people like the people in this forum........so what price are we paying?

Sounds like a case of the "green-eyed monster" to me. Is this what you tell yourself to comfort your bruised ego?
The world is on the RoC's side because they recognise it for its positive contribution to civilisation and for being such a survivor despite its continued punishment by its nasty neighbour.

The only thing they can boast about is "but we are recognised and in the EU".......wooopppeeedoooooo........but what's the price they are paying for it?

We are not just recognised in the EU . . . we are actually members of the club.
Blackball for you baddies. :D

And the KKTC is still there. :D

WHERE? It's on none of my maps, not in my geography books and not a word of validity from National Geographic.

It's in your itsy bitsy teeny weeny mind . . . that's all!

That's what I used to say in the '60s before I went to bed but after 1974, I learned that I could sleep without having to worry about the "green-eyed monster".

You still haven't told me what your "recognition" got you.

DOHHHHHHHHHHH! isn't that what I said you boast about sock-puppet?

And the KKTC is still there. :D

Just look north sock-puppet, just look north.

It's right there with a great big massive bright light Turkish flag staring you right in the face. You really need to put eyes on your sock-puppets phoe-nichts, they might help you to see the real reality.

I am not laughing, having heard the cost in London is astronomical...But 4.50/hr...that would make it just under AUS$3 to the pound...ouch what do you live on?

But in the other hand let me give you another point of view...it makes you work on standard rather than price...we are a service economy and we demand the damn service...I am sure as a tradesman you had referals...and you charged a little higher because your job stands out...This brings back to you getting the job, charging higher, because you provided a better service...I can give you examples of waiters, casino dealers that make you happy parting with money in Vegas, with an hourly rate of, and don't laugh, around US$4 per hr...purelly surviving of the best...Also nothing wrong with this...why carry dead weight around...

anyway enough the politics money depresses me...
