Yes. At least mine did. I have two. One I bought in the UK as SIM free, and another I had unlocked for a tenner in one of those market stalls you see around in the UK. Both work perfectly fine with my Areeba pay as you go sim card over here.

Cheers

So easy is cyta's offering costs £15 with £3 of calls free to start you off.

Arriba also does a sim pack at a similar price.

Both sim packs can be bought anywhere including local kiosks

Areeba is now another name (MTN?). Hopefully same price. I normally get £15 cards and you get something like 100 free texts and about £3 free calls. Free texts are also free to the UK (1c each after that, even to the UK). Never checked, but if like Cyta landline then different times of the day/week don't effect the price at all. Nice. And it's all well cheaper than a certain total rip off country :)

Areeba/MTN will be doing a huge promotion next month, hang on before you buy a sim card or sign any contracts :)
