I always wondered what you looked like Eric Dayi, now I know........so thanks.

Nice try kikapu but you ain't getting away as easy as that. That is you selling your arse to the GCs as prostitution it's the best thing you know all about.

Eric Dayi, take a little friendly advice and don't try to go Head to Head with me on "Battle of the Wits" because I will be arrested for inflicting "Cruel and unusual Punishment" on you for having had a "Battle of the Wits with an Unarmed Person", such as yourself.

Hey kiks, I wouldn't dare to go "head to head"

You learned really fast, I'm impressed.

Not a very good try this time kiks seeing that my original post is still there and people can see you just "edited" it to suit your stupidity.

But just on case I'll post it again so that people do not have to scroll up and see it.

Hey kiks, I wouldn't dare to go "head to head" with anyone who sells his arse and sells out his own people.    :wink:

Anyway, like I said above, I wouldn't dare to go "head to head" with anyone who sells his arse and sells out his own people but I would make a suggestion to this person kikapu to farther his dancing skills so that his GC masters may throw a few more silver coins his way.

Kiks, who'se hand is that up your backside?

There is a such a thing as "overkill" Eric Dayi, to try and force a humour or a wit on others, even if you had the skills to do so, which you lack.

Timing is everything in Comedy, and I'm afraid I've already knocked your "clock off", so give it a rest now and don't bore the readers of this forum with your dribble.

Oooooh, it's comedy now is it?

If I want comedy I'll go and watch Cilali Ibo or Cannon and Ball, you are as funny as Idi Amin who invited people FOR and not TO dinner.

Oh by the way Eric Dayi, all Cypriots are my people, including you and all the other Partitionist, unfortunately, but one can only choose their neighbours and not their "family".

Not always true and you are living proof of that.

You have chosen your "friends" over your people and I have chosen my people who are my family.

So, what that means Eric Dayi, is that I'm stuck with you fools.

Nope, you are stuck with your "friends" in the South, enjoy, while you can.

Eric Dayi, has anyone ever told you that you are very boring and predictable person to try and have a conversation with. I know your answers to your replies before you even make an attempt to write them. It must be your training with all the other "Brain Dead" Partitionist at the other Forum where Fascism and Fanaticism is mastered by you all. The 15th Century mentality must also come very handy as well. I had my fun with you while it lasted but all good thing must come to an end, so now you are excused to go and bore the hell out of others.

What's this, kikapu is giving up after boasting that I am no match for him?

Demek ki iki cambazin bir ip ustunde oynamasinin mumkun olmadigini anlarkenden hop diye yere atladin ha?

The only reason you know my answers boy is because I know your questions even before you think about them.

As long as I didn't respond to your graffiti show and you had GC backup you felt strong but when I hit back you decide to try to make a "graceful" escape.......

Good boy kikapu, just go to bed, sweet dreams and don't forget to stick some plugs in your nostrils to prevent you snoring.

No more brownie points for you my lad.

Is it my imagination, or is it that you both don't think much of each other?

Remedy to stop you laughing: If stop looking in the mirror you would stop seeing the face of a clown.

You have to do better than that to get brownie points my lad, just not good enough being a dumb hunchback.

Your moment passed when you run towards the South while the TCs were running to the North of Cyprus.

Come on people...Lets stop this never ending repetition of the stock phrases and old pasee propaganda slogans..Lets discuss this matter in a civilised way, based on facts...I am open to all ideas,as long as they are based on reality...Why should in this day and age,in the middle of the prosperous EU community, where Cyprus is becoming more and more multicultural, and less and less Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot, should any one community be preoccupied with archaic ideas like assimilating others by Osmosis, whatever that means??????

I will tell you what that means Bir.....It means that you will be explaining to everyone that you meet that you are in fact not Greek but a Turkish Cypriot. We will be waiting for handouts to open Turkish schools and amenities from a Greek based government. We will have areas dedicated to us but they will be known as Turkish enclaves where slums will develop because it will take decades for the GCs to ever come to terms with us as partners again. The hill will become a mountain to climb and the courts will be full of applications for all types of human rights struggles. Many will leave out of the ones that are left after the GCs decide who is and isn't a proper Cypriot. We will become even less than we are now and even more of a minority in Greek terms.

Why the hell would we want to take ourselves out of a position of power and start all over again. We have tasted the freedom of that power and the right to determine our own future so why the hell would we do that to ourselves. How old are you....Give away all your possessions and start again.....See how that feels. I am a Turkish Cypriot from the TRNC/KKTC...OR...I am a full partner in the "Cyprus Republic" either or will do and nothing else.

Pyros is right,Zan...I was more interested in hearing why and how you think Osmisis or assimilation can happen in this day and age in the middle of The EU...???But you took the easy option and gave us more of your old and paranoid fears...As far as I am concerned all this fearmognering has lost all credibility...You would be more believable if you said there are still elements in the GC society who hate TCs and would like to wipe them from the face of the earth. But how on earth can you take the twisted wishes a very small minority, and apply it to all GCs without discrimination???No one is suggesting that we shut down the trnc tonight and start living in the RoC tomorrow morning...I am talking about an orderly and agreed transitional process where our basic human rights (freedom from physical abuse, religious worship, mother tongue, equal opportunity in employment, voting rights etc) would be guaranteed to TCs satisfaction...And as long as the agreed end result is a fully democratic republic based on the rule of law and not on discriminatory ethnic considerations,I am sure we can get the GCs to come to the party...

Now please tell me how could a priviledged minority of 20% be assimilated against their wish if they are able to call on the help of international courts and EU human rights criteria????

Enough of this archaic fears and scaremongering...Hear what people are telling you.No one gives a damn about what language you speak or what religion you follow,as long as you do not insist that those two factors should give you rights and priveledges no other community enjoys in a functioning democracy... People are not interested what cultural traditions you hold dear,or whether you cut a bit off your dick,as long as you don't insist everybody else should be doing the same,or else go and live in another state....Get over this phobia of victimisation and osmosis...And lets return to the ranks of civilised human beings who believe in a fair go for all,and justice for those who have suffered greatly through no fault of their own... I have gone blue in the face telling this, but it needs to be told again and again, because you guys are not listening...Insisting on partition and your own state where you will be in the majority forever, will only result in perpetuating the present bitterness and sense of injustice in the majority of our compatriots...There is no way the mistrust and hatred harboured by some will go away if what people see is a divided country with one side hiding behind a foreign army and sticking their fingers up to all notions of fair go and justice for all...The end result would inevitably be further bloodshed and prolonged suffering for a great number of Cypriots, and what for???Because of your inability to show empathy and compassion for your compatriots???Your inablilty to find the courage to say "I am strong and will survive anything,as I did between 1963-74" and "I am capable of looking after my own in a level playing field which is a fully functioning democratic republic??? Lets all come to our senses before another 2,3 or 4 generations goes through what the last 3 generations has gone through...

The problem is that the historical animosities between Greek and Turk is going to quite hard to overcome. And it can also be pointed out by the pro-trnc members of the forum that the partition has resulted in at least a form of peace on the island. Given these points, how is reconciliation (which is a NECESSITY for any successful plan for reunification) going to be possible? Not an easy question to answer.

Zan,

Your fears are not unique. I spent 1958, a year that I was in primary school, living in total fear of Turkish attacks in Nicosia. We went through a daily routine that was something like this:

Seven pm the curfew siren would sound. We had half hour to get home and stay there till morning. The British troops would patrol the neighborhood once, then Turkish policement would be posted on the corners. Then some Turkish civilian people with guns would walk through the neighborhood threatening anyone who peeked out and then stores would be selectively burned. Seven AM the siren would sound again and we could come out of our houses.

The area was two blocks off Ledra street in central Nicosia. A TUrkish CYpriot journalist was shot in our street, by Turkish Cypriot gunmen, while we were playing nearby. We had to leave Cyprus for a year in late 58. So your experiences are not unique and some here do know that horrible experience of people who you do not know and have never harmed coming to kill you. But at some point you have to leave these things and take in what is happening NOW. We are not in 1958 or 1963. Things have changed. What Bir is proposing is a way to get on without having to relive 1958 or 1963 or 1974 again.

Your asking us to survive like we did in 1963 to 1974 i pathetic we went through what we did in order to leave those hardships behind Maybe the ghettos will not return but the hardship and constant ECHR applications when you want to conduct the simplest of transactions will be the version of TC persecution and discrimination.

If you want to see osmosis in the making just look at the 2nd 3rd generation Tcs in the UK, they are non existent and more English than the English...now you come here and tell me that without safeguards we would not face the outcome with a ratio of 8 to 2 this is osmosis but the TCs of the UK chose to go live there but I have the choice not to face the same osmosis and I and many TCs reject anything short of BBF with plenty of safeguards to ensure we are always the majority in the North State. Otherwise we all get o with our lives as we do today, even without recognition we can still live a good standard of life and prosper, non recognition is a tool used by GCs to try and apply psychological pressure so that we accept living in their GC state as you do down under.
