Thank you for your sexist observation that for a female I curse too much. One rule for the men and another for the women is it?

As it so happens I do not usually swear . . you seem to be full of generilizations.

I have sworn but as far as I recall only directly at Eric because he was WAY out of order on a personal sentiment.

Who was the one you called racist scum a few posts away then?

Does it really matter who had the most or the least fanatic MR-from-NG.? It only takes a handful to mess things up. Just by having more, it does not mean the problem is any worse. It only took 19 fanatics to attack America on September 11th, and as a result, many thousands of innocents have died since when America retaliated.

We also saw on TV some people in the Middle East celebrating attack on America, and this too was fed to the Americans as to how much the Middle East hates America, which was also a way to get Americans to back the war in Afghanistan and Iraq. In short, Americans were duped by their leaders that all Arabs hate Americans. If it wasn't true before, it is more than likely true today. I'm always amazed how much crap people believe in what they are told by their leaders and what they see on TV . Is it possible, that you too were duped along with many other TC's in thinking, that a NO on the referendum was just a NO on AP and not a NO on the TC's. My cousin's husband was a YES on the AP, but was a NO on GC's. The point is, everyone had their reasons as to the way each person voted. Just because one plan failed does not mean other plans should not be tried, and so far, everyone is dragging their feet to get a new plan that everyone can respect without one trying to screw the other.

Very well said, however, did you really and honestly expect any more advanced level of thinking and judgment from someone like "MR-from-NG?"

If your cousins wanted a unified island they would just stop the illegalities and allow Cyprus to be re-unified again. On the contrary they insist on their illegal occupation trying to blackmail us to accept their own terms.

Your cousins where not "excited with the prospect of a unified island", they were excited for the prospect of finally legalizing partition in a loose association with the rest of Cyprus, with the added benefit of instant EU accession and a lot of financial support.

On the day of the referendum I was channel surfing like a man possessed. BBC, ITV, Ch4, Five Sky, CNN, Euronews the list can go on and on. I swear it brought tears to my eyes seeing kids and elderly GCs rejecting the idea of sharing Cyprus with TCs.

Of course Greek Cypriots rejected partition. What did you expect?

The Annan plan would grand to the TC minority of 18%, the 29% of Cyprus, and 50% of power share.

This is why the plan was rejected. Sharing yes, but the share should be proportional, don't you agree Mrfromng?

Or maybe you would accept to share Cyprus regardless of what your share will be? I don't think so. You accepted Annan plan because it gave you a lot more than your fair share, on our loss. If for example the Annan plan gave you 9% of land and 10% of power, would you accept it?

Piratis, my cousins and friends wanted a genuine reunification. Even at the cost of being removed from the property they were given in exchange for what they left in the south. Why do you not give people the benefit of the doubt, I think you judge people by your own venomous feelings or you are surrounded with people with ulterior intentions and have been screwed so much taht you are paranoid about everything and everybody.

The Annan plan was perhaps not the most well balanced and you may have valid reasons for rejecting it. Your community not only rejected the "plan" they clearly rejected the TCs too. This was clear for the world to see.

Piratis, get this into your head, listen and listen good. You will never ever get a final solution with the type of mathematics you play with. There will be losers for sure. If you think you're coming out of the shit you got yourself into with such a solution and that percentages and final figures will be to your liking you must be living on a different planet.

I would encourage all my GC friends to practise common sense and act swiftly with damage limitation as your targets. One last thing, time is not on your side, the TCs have this luxury, you don't.

Kifeas,

Lets hope people can at least have another perspective to their way of seeing thing from yet another angle. One of course needs to be open for other angles, or else, they will just remain "blind", which for some, it suits them just fine.

Every one is forgetting the point that there was not just one Annan plan and how many years that it went on for....If TPap wanted a solution then why was he not more open with what he wanted and negotiate for a better plan? The answer is quite simple...He did not want any sort of settlement except for the "RoC" to seize power. How else would the UN actually been surprised by the decision..and..why is the UN and the EU so pissed off at them at the moment. They know what is going on for sure.

And what evidence do you have to cite in order to back up this claim, outside the distorting slogans that your leadership has been "spoon feeding" your imagination with? Oh, I almost forgot it, you saw on TV some Greek Cypriots celebrating!

I think TPaa crying on TV and swinging the vote might have something to with it and then calling his own politicians "Turk Lovers"....
