Talat n Gul

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

VP all I got from that post is excactly what you and Talat has said no unification partition.

it okay for TC's not wanting to live in the south as foreigners among GC's but its okay for GC's not to be allowed to return to their homes and haver their property consficated.

It is hard to trust talat after that strong message. He clearly said there is not going to be compromise on Varosah, there are no refugees because they have all been rehabilitated, they have rehabilitated themselves they had no choice still have no choice, they worked hard to makea life for themselves.

A two sate solution using your words above 80% of the GC population will be damned if they hand it over to you on a silver plater. They would rather go status quop and so would I . Talat has ruined it for me personally he showed no emotion no understanding and not an ounce of sympathy with the people he would be living with. Why would I trust him why would I want to live with a sadistic man like him sorry keep the status quo it is safer.

I come back to my point VP you see people as different and you and your community see the other Cypriots who are different to you as the enemy, and alot of other see you as the enemy the moment we change that and we all see ourselves as Cypriots there is no Cypro. I am not going to divert from my belief. I am not going to try to convince you to shift from your perspective.

Like I said you may deny my my rights you may say that I do not exist but you can never stop my heart from yearning and lovng all of my country.

If your last sentence is writen with integrty then waht is stoping us (not the politicians or if you are a politican) from working toward that goal. If that is what you want why not fight for that. The option of hate has not gotten us anywhere, why don't we spend the next ten years fighting for something that might finamy free us all. Freedom of the human spirit, not the ability to return to Xeros and live in four walls or tend to the fields but the knowingness that Cyprus is made of Cypriots who love each other and their country and who speak and believe in a language and God of their choice.

You are not trying to understand what we are both saying. The GC exibit no signs of wanting unfication on compromised terms, they still proceed with their arrogant and bloddy minded ideology. Taking this into consideration do we continue to bash our heads against a GC brick wall or look for other avenues to persue progress without the GCs who are giving out clear messages that they will never accept BBF, their only objective is to deflect the attention from the AP to the 8th of July agreements with no time frames there leveing the door opening to blaming the TCs and trying to get back the lost international support derived from voting no to a comprehensive solution.

it okay for TC's not wanting to live in the south as foreigners among GC's but its okay for GC's not to be allowed to return to their homes and haver their property consficated.

We Tcs are not against GCs returning to a North state run by TCs and claiming their property, if they do not want to return then they can claim compensation or even exchange with TCs. Please take note you seem to dismiss this which I have stated before but the only problem is GCs want us to live in a GC state but they do not want to do the same in reverse, ironic really they cant take their own medicine.

You have the right not to trust Talat who is in far more difficult situation than your leader who does nothing for a solution...who we also hate form the bottom of our heart and see as our enemy.

Then the current stalemate will not change, choice is yours. At least Talat is not an ex eoka man author of the akritas plan and know Turk hater who you choose to represent Gcs and will probably re-elect, if you do you deserve everything you get.

I see you no different from a French man or Italian does that mean I see you any less a human being? What you are asking for is like the French and English to unite, Cyriotism will only develop over time we had our chance in 1960 and blew it, now its just a little to late to convince TCs that you mean well as you are comfortable knowing you are 80% numerical majority, saying well we are all Cypriots is like saying let us absorb you.

Like I said you may deny my my rights you may say that I do not exist but you can never stop my heart from yearning and lovng all of my country.

You hold onto your dream but I am a realist and can clearly see that your GC leadership are not interested in a solution at all.

When you have been trying for 44 years you get very tired of bashing yourself over the head knowing full well that you will get absolutely nowhere with GCs you do not take such suggestion seriously as GCs have never taken such bold and courageous moves and I dont think they will start now.
