Too many flash cars and inexperienced drivers.....insure the young drivers off the road. Good riddance to big brother though!!!!

I repeat, I have no interest in anything to do with traffic law enforcement. Can't I get it into your thick head that the cops who deal with traffic are not the same ones who deal with "REAL crime" (although how you consider speeding not being a real crime is mind-boggling).

Now, let's look at this logically: the cameras are down. Traffic offences will rise where they have been dismantled. This means that more cops will have to be physically present on traffic control. That means that some cops may have to be seconded from other branches, such as the CID, fraud suppression, corruption investigation (ha-ha!) etc. Is this what you want? Much better having "little black boxes" doing the job automatically, possibly releasing personnel for more serious crime prevention.

Its a pity we cant have 'more little black boxes' doing scientific work. Instead we have to put up with your inane lecturing and ramblings. ps..... I'm not the one who's thick!

I think this is turning into a social studies lecture.

Perhaps you could write a book on here all about it. I'm sure it will make a very uninteresting read.

I read that they will be fining and giving 2 points for using a mobile phone when driving, talking and/or texting, eating or drinking when driving and smoking if a child is in the car. How about enforcing the law that those stupid parents seem to flout where they let their kids run riot all over the back seat and sometimes front seat.

Also, lane discipline....on roundabouts and IN general. My real pet hate!!!!

When a driver has to stay in the lane they are driving in without swerving all over the place and also without indicating. Especially when approaching parked cars ...... they think they can just move into your lane and cause you to swerve out of the way. Or when approaching a roundabout on the inside lane and then taking the last exit so causing everyone else to swerve and stop.
