ok fess up who knows the best free wifi spots in good old larnaca.. arriving soon & have no internet access at my place yet[working on it]
my place is just outside town 2mins from main beach... 8)

OK, while you are in uk, get a USB > Aerial Wifi Adapter, this way you will be able to pick up a wider range of computer lamers in your neigborhood.

Starbucks on promenade has wifi as does Costa Coffee if i'm not mistaken.

IN the "old" days i used drive around Limassol with my laptop getting statistics about open networks...

I was surprised when i found a lot of unencrypted networks or networks with simple WEP encryption used by major companies, banks, law firms etc :)

50% of networks used default password for their routers, one shipping company actually have exposed their corporate email parameters in the wild.

Thats was a couple of years ago... as i had no intention to harm i kept info confidential. However i did lock a few routers so at least they'd call a technician which would set everything up properly.
