For those that might be interested : Joses' successor has already been announced as Avram Grant, the Isreali coach, who will be assisted by Steve Clarke.
It is thought that this is a stop-gap appointment, as the man Chelsea bosses really want is Gus Hiddink, the manager of the Russian national side, but he's not available until after the Euro 2008 campaign.
I've been a staunch Chelsea supporter for 50 years, and I'm well used to all the flak that non chelsea fans chuck at us, but anyone that is fair minded cannot fail to appreciate that Jose Mourhino is a character and if he were to take the England job over from Steve Maclaren, we could do a lot worse than him!
I wish him well in his next venture.
