That goes to prove that the Greeks can't afford to pay wages because they are in the EU and prices have sky rocketed and out of control in every EU country. Don't need Turkey? re, think that one my "friend". :wink: :wink: :wink:

Unemployment in Greece is 8.8% (and dropping), 10.2% in Turkey plus 4% underemployment. That goes to prove that Greeks achieve both higher salaries and lower unemployment rates than Turkey. Greece doesn't need Turkey, it's the other way around. Greek businesses open branches or buy other businesses in Turkey, thus lowering the unemployment rate

Alexis I appreciate that. Though I was responding to some Turk who was saying that Turkey does not the EU or rather they are slowing the EU process down at their choice.

I was saying that is a whole bag of bull.;)

Eric dayi,

Lets face if Mr Anti EU, that the only reason you talk the way you do, it is because the EU is the only obstacle in Turkey's way, that will spoil for you to keep the status quo in Cyprus the way it is. All your bad mouthing the EU just falls on death ears. If the "TRNC" was an independent state without any baggage hanging around it's neck, like the 200,000 GC refugees and their property in the "TRNC", you will be the first one to kiss the EU's ass to let you in, just like all the other countries have done so, who are in the EU. I would not be surprised if you have lived most of your life in the UK, another EU country which you have benefited, but now you want to deny the same advantages to the Turks or even to the TC's, because of your own self interest. Look who is the "enemy" of the Turks and the TC's now. This goes to all the Partitionist on this Forum, who knows, that being in the EU will mean in bringing "Law and Order" and "True Democracy" which the Partitionist do not want. So let me repeat this to you one more time, because the more you open your mouth, the truer this becomes and that is;
"follow the money, and you will find where the truth lies with most peoples motives".

That's because like I said they can't afford to pay the soaring EU wages. Otherwise why would they go and open businesses in a country they (Greeks) claim is run by the Army, is corrupt and hates Greeks?

Lemme guess, it's because the Greeks love the Turks and they can't see them suffering and want to help them "better" themselves. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

And while you are at it can you all tell us what the KIP plan was and what was the meaning of the title Bayraktar Bozkurt?

Bayraktar= Standard bearer

Bozkurt=Grey Wolf
A 'military' title of sorts in Cyprus, a leader.
