Nikitas I am not holding my breath on that one. Having said that it has been stated before on this forum that the trnc residents and administration do not want GC's living in the occupied areas.

GCs can come and set up business here tomorrow but the fascist regime in the south will not allow it has their people would then have to turn around and recognize the TRNC paying taxes to our government, that would be a sin so don't expect any soulavaki restaurants to open up soon in the TRNC.

Good on you, so he should pay his taxes and abide by your laws now that he has decided to set up business there, we would expect the same of any GCs that were brave enough to go against your leaders and come to the TRNC to start a business.

Why should any Cypriot give any kind of support to your pseudo state and act illegally?

Turkish Cypriots are encouraged to go against illegality and move toward legality. That will surely benefit them. But why would anybody move from legality to illegality? Maybe only the people of the underworld who are used in illegalities will do that.

With 17,000 TC's crossing into part of their country (RoC) to work, why not also provide Lamb & Chicken Kebab for them to eat by yet another TC. You watch and see what will happen. You will get flood of TC's coming into the RoC to try and capture some of that business generated by the 17,000 TC's, and the way things are going, that number will no doubt grow since they can't find work in the "TRNC".

Lets hope so, then the revenue can drift into the TRNC and support the economy offsetting the losses we endure due to GC policies regarding isolating the TCs, to keep them wanting a solution.

That's true in what you say, but what if these TC's get tired of crossing the check points everyday, and might decide to live in the RoC, close to where they have their businesses. Soon they will be paying taxes in the RoC, so might as well stay there also, along with their money.

Got to look at all possible outcomes.!!
