I will match Mitches generous donation and will ask my sister, who is in the TRNC at the moment, to deliver the money direct. This is not because I do not trust you but I do not want details of a personal nature to get out on a cheque. I will make sure that she tells the people that it is for your collection and all credit should go to you. Bravo!!!

Thats very noble of you Zan , every little comfort provided to sufferers is greatly appreciated by them. My dear wife is back in Hospital again , this Friday she will undergo an operation , she is fully aware of Cancer Tulip and happy that our support is helping a little.

We will be thinking of her Miltiades. I hope she is comfortable.

Halil.
I realise that Miltiades is not after the credit but I believe he should get it anyway. Credit where credits due!!!

This is to thank the Anonymous forum member who has donated the sum of £100.00 for Cancer Tulip.
Two members have so far donated here and I understand Zan donated direct to the Nicosia centre.
In view of my wife's continuing treatment in Hospital my time on the forum will be limited , my efforts to increase donations will however continue. I was hoping to be in Cyprus early October where I would personally hand over the £200.00 donated plus the contents of our collection box. It looks as though I shall not be able to visit Cyprus for the time being and I will make a bank transfer to the Associations' bank account requesting that the Cancer Tulip acknowledges on forum receipt of funds which I will forward early next week.
I very much hope that other members , especially UK Cypriots come forward with a donation for such an admirable cause.
I have PM the anonymous member ( Known to me ) and thanked him .

I have to thank my sister for taking the time to visit the centre and donate the money in Miltiades name. I would also like to thank my lovely sister for donating a hundred pounds of her own as well. Although I have had no confirmation of this, if my sister says she is going to do something she will.

Again...Bravo to Miltiades.

Come on everyone. Cancer knows no borders. Please help.

Could the organisers of Tulips please tell me if it is possible to pay direct into an account from the UK ?

That is very charitable of you Zan and likewise for your sister. I believe the cancer tulip centre looks after , amongst other sufferers , 22 children with leukemia and we all know that these children need all the help they can get. I was hoping to be in Cyprus this Friday but I will not unfortunately be able to as my wife is still in hospital.
I have sent the money donated by our two forum members as well as the contents of our collection box altogether £240 ., via Western Union.
I think Razaye is an absolute angel in that she does so much for cancer sufferers and runs the centre with such zeal and professionalism, she has my utmost respect .

My dear friend Miltiades, just read the post about your dear wife having an operation. I hope it all goes well and she will make a rapid recovery.

My best wishes my friend. Will call you tomorrow for a chat.

Take care.

Sorry Miltiades but my post stating that my sister had already donated the sums I mentioned were a little premature...I have just received confirmation from my sister that this has has now been done today. Sorry for any confusion but I am sure you will receive confirmation now from the Tulips organisation.

I hope your wife and you are doing well. I know it is not easy...My youngest sister went through it as well.

Thanks for letting me know Zan and thank you for your good wishes for my wife , still in hospital but holding her own . The hospital she is at is perhaps the finest cancer hospital in Europe if not the world. The Royal Marsden is world famous and the care the doctors and nurses provide is second to none.
Once again thanks.
