I hate Archbishop Makarios.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I hate Archbishop Makarios.

May the murdering man of God rest in pieces.

"...Every time a blind Greek bomb tears innocent Turkish Cypriot children from their mother's arms, I hate Archbishop Makarios. Every time a hail of deliberate Greek bullets kill Turkish Cypriot women and children, I hate Archbishop Makarios. And I have hated this bloodstained man ever since he gave his blessing to that bandy little bandit Grivas and EOKA to shoot down in cold blood our own men and women and children. And now this arch hypocrite is giving his blessing to his young savage dogs of war by calling the Turks 'Barbarians and criminals.' Deliberately he incites racial hatred and promotes religious war with sanctimonious proclamations that 'The Cypriot people are determined to the death for their liberty and the integrity of their country.' And he sits back in his comfy marbled palace well pleased when Nicosia's Greek daily Eleftheria screams; 'If there is to be a world war over Cyprus, let it be soon.'

For nine years, longer than both world wars, he (Makarios) has been responsible for every drop of blood that has been shed on this wretched island. He has been responsible for corruption of youth, the uncontrolled violence of the EOKA thugs and the murder of the innocents. He is responsible for what is happening in Cyprus this very minute. He could, God forbid, be responsible for plunging us all into the abyss of a dreadful world war."

I am sure he would be the first to forgive you, my son, and give you his blessing for confessing your sins in respect of the above lies.

I bet you feel much better now you've let it all out, Eric! :P

A little bed-rest is maybe all that is required . . .

Forgiveness from a murdering "Man of God" is worse than drinking metaxa.

my son,

Watch it, you are giving your age away old man.

and give you his blessing for confessing your sins in respect of the above lies.

Of course it's GC lies and propaganda that everyone lies except for Gcs.

Of course it's GC lies and propaganda that the war in Cyprus is everyone else's fault but the GCs.

Of course it's GC lies and propaganda that GCs didn't want to commit genocide against us TCs.

Of course it's lies that you are not a sock-puppet.

So I confessed, am I "Blessed" now?

I bet you feel much better now you've let it all out, Eric! :P

After confessing to the lies of the GCs I feel much better, thanks for giving me the opportunity to confess.

A little bed-rest is maybe all that is required . . .

Then I suggest that you go back in the draw with the other sock-puppets and have your rest.

Makarios was not responsible for what happened during the intercommunal conflict, which was a conflict between the paramilitaries of the two sides. Maybe you forget that GCs also had 100s of innocents as casualties during that time?

It is funny how the Turks can hate so easily and even blame innocent people because they suffered a few 100s of casualties several decades ago, when they are the ones who initiated the bloodshed in Cyprus by killing 10s of thousands of Cypriots, and continuing almost non stop since then with killing many more 1000s and ethnically cleansing 100s of thousands.

A classic case of the the pot calling the kettle black!

Of course we all know we they do it: Because they are looking for excuses to commit yet more crimes today and in the future. The Turks will apparently never change.

The Greeks had a very positive influence to the world in general during their history. Like every other nation they had their dark eras, but fortunately today is not one of those dark times.

With the Turks it is the opposite. Most of their history is a dark era, just with a few bright sports. Unfortunately today they continue in the same ugly way as most of their history. It is time they come out of the middle ages.

Piratis, Why should I continue to debate anything with you on this forum. I just might as well be talking to a brick wall! I asked people on this forum to convince me that my pro-TRNC views are wrong. Instead of straight answers, I'm bearing insults, abuse, and other indignities. You claim to be a sober clear-thinking person on this forum. So I'm asking you to approach me in that manner...
