Makarios III (1913–1977)

Cypriot politician and Greek Orthodox archbishop 1950–77. A leader of the Greek-Cypriot resistance organization EOKA, he was exiled by the British to the Seychelles 1956–57 for supporting armed action to achieve union with Greece (enosis). He was president of the republic of Cyprus 1960–77 (briefly deposed by a Greek military coup July–Dec 1974).

I honestly don't think you're in a position to discuss Makarios or anything else about Cyprus for that matter as I've already informed you on ATCA. The reason being that you are only prepared to look at SELECTIVE little bits and pieces, while you are angry, to "form" the bigger picture but that of course is NEVER possible.

The "bigger picture" is that ENOSIS is that although the murdering "Priest" Makarios is dead the EOKA and ENOSIS idea isn't. EOKA has a new name and it's called "Cypriots" started by the GCs just after their "OXI" vote to the Annan Plan in 2003.

This "Cypriot" organisations which was created by the GC has the sole purpose of awakening "Cypriotness" in as many gullible TCs as possible to
join the GCs in their "struggle" to create a "Cypriot nation" which they hope will gain international support and sympathy.

The GCs know that no matter how many gullible TCs join their "organisation" the GCs will always be in the majority and that if unification is successful a "referendum" will always be in their favour for their ultimate ENOSIS dream.

This new GC propaganda campaign will also fail as did the GC propaganda
of the past to achieve ENOSIS.

Your scare tactics of trying to scare us TCs with talk war has already failed
so will any other propaganda you GCs can dream of.

Anyone with a bit of common sense will remind you that MANY derogative caricatures against Makarios were published by the British during the 1955..1959 EOKA struggle and that is understandable to those who know the Cyprus history and wouldn't use it as part of their argument.

What I posted proves that Makarios was a murdering scum who was the leader of the EOKA and wanted ENOSIS even in the 1950's proving those who claim that Makarios did not want ENOSIS and was not the leader of the murdering terrorist scum EOKA as liars.
