Yet what is written on the flag says: "Enosis Agoniston Lefkosias" Union of Nicosia district fighters.

You had no right to impose your will against the rights of the Cypriot people who in their great majority obviously wanted liberation from the colonialists.

You started the intercommunal conflict by siding with the colonialists, and then you blame Makarios for it. Ridiculous.

Did we or did we not have the right to retaliate to your fight for expulsion of the Brits and your under lying desire to become Greece which would have meant an end to our community. We had to fight back for survival any community in the world would have done the same and do even today when they feel they are at risk, this was and is our right when forced to do someting against your will.

The only reason you resisted is because Turkey was there. If that was not the case then you would've assimilated just fine with the rest of the country, as happens elsewhere all over the world, and you and I would've never met.

How true, he would have been dead along with the rest of us Turkish Cypriots a very long time ago.
