If you want to sit and negotiate, you cant do that by this attitude. Why bother. Its all show. I must add the same goes for Tpap as well. Lets hope that the news that there will be another meeting soon is true, maybe they will change their stance. Or is it wishful thinking on my part.

you know what deniz, am over that interview showed an attitude that I never thought would be possible by someone who is trying to unite his people. really unification is only a show to the rest of the world, deep down he wants partition. the problem is he is being fed crap from Turkey, the day he gets his partition which is a long time from now, that is the day he also gets annexed to turkey, what has he achieved nothing for the Cypriots he represents.

If I were Papadopoulos I would not even waste any time with him Papadopoulos was right in his argument, the only enemy is Turkey an its army and its occupation of Cyprus. He should just let the wanker live his deluded presidential status that no one recognises..

Humanist,

Just like Pyro said, just because one owns land in the North or the South, does not mean they will also move to their property. They can sell it, rent it or just let it sit there and gain more value. Under a Federation system, we are still one country, therefore it does not matter where you live and where your property is. My guess is, majority of the GC's and the TC's will not be moving North or South, respectively. So all these Partitionist need not worry about losing their Turkishness at all.
