How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

without even thinking that you yourselves for 30 years presented us Denktash in the 'driving seat' with regards to finding a fair solution. without caring for our concerns. And not only that, you expected us to say YES in the referendum and have Denktash as Co-President without again caring for our concerns.

That is largely fair critisim but we HAVE (just about) got rid of RD. You have not (yet) got rid of TP. And it does remain a concern for me in terms of the chance of finding a solution today.

About the e-mail stuff. My advice is don't bother. They will never reply you because they never reply to e-mails. Perhaps you can send an "open letter" to Papadopoulos via publishing your letter in a newspaper that circulates is the free areas e.g to Cyprus Mail.

Actualy that is an excellent idea and I thank you for it. I will try and find the time to write such a letter and offer it for submission when I can. Right now I have a bad desire to go and play "Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords" so maybe later :)

The arguements for uniting have not been very strong in this thread, surely this is a clear indication that deep down division is the strongest option for a solution. I think Mr Papdop has worked this out just after the referendum he just has declared  it to you guys yet.

When do we think he will go on national Tv and deliver his speach???

Give us your arguments for partition then. So far I heard only of one argument. The delay caused by 30 Denktashes years. I ve never heard a single argument for the day after partition anyway. But of course you must wait and see them to be sure right?
Well, the fact is that there will be no way back though.

No sharing of power with Turkish Cypriots
No Economical burden of reunification on Greek Cypriots
Continuation of the Republic of Cyprus
No loss of Governement positions to Turkish Cypriots
No claims for Turkish Cypriot Properties
Return of a certain percentage of land to Greek Cypriots
Keep the current flag
Restriction of Turkish Cypriot workers in south.
No more medical assistance for Turkish Cypriot.
No RoC Passports

These are a few of the top of my head.

Delay did not caused by Denktash only, gc leaders did same think. If Mr Denktash's fault why GC said OXI   :!: because they wanted the partition gc did not want to share anythink with TC.DO THEY? :!:

The problem is, there are no good reasons for partition, unless there is a double enosis! Partition was based on that thesis!
