miltiades made his comment knowing perfectly well that I am a TC and the reason he made it is because I refuse to drop the Turkish and become a "Cypriot" only. But let us not ruin this thread arguing about this subject.

And I'm a G/C who would find flying the Greek flag offensive to my T/Cs compatriots , it would also indicate as yours does that Cyprus does not exist as a nation but is a mere extension of either Turkey or Greece. It is such behaviour that has caused our people so much suffering and the continual exhibition of "motherland " bullshit will in the future bring more conflict and suffering to our people. An independent mind will tell you and all those Cypriots with same mentality that our island is neither Greek nor Turkish but it is how the entire world views Cyprus to be.Do you for instance consider that the flag of a foreign nation , that of Turkey is acceptable to your compatriots , or do you consider that the Turkish flag is not that of a foreign nation , and if so then your no more Turkish Cypriot
than the 40 thousand Turkish troops on out soil .

You tell us thatthe Greek flagis foreign to you and you hate it but none of youare doing anything to get your government to remove it, instead yougo pass it everyday and feel great and show your appreciation by electing an EOKA terrorist as your "President" who openly admitted that he wants nothing else but "Osmosis". Talat asks him to hurry up with sorting out the problems and his reply was, don't rush it, we need time. WHAT? 40+ years is not long enough and he still needs time to think. Yeah, he needs time allright, more time to think of more cunning tricks on how to "assimilate" us into a Greek society.

The concept is still the same though, OSMOSIS, ENOSIS and PEACE for the GCs but CAPITULATION, HOMELESNESS, MISERY and not even being able to call myself Turkish in a Greek controlled society/country.
