Not all Americans voted for GWB the second time ... or the first time for that matter.
Now, let's dispense the hasty generalizations. :)

Filitsa

Where / How did the phrase "Honest-to-Goodness" originate?

What does it really mean?

Okie dokie! . . . I've just looked it up . . .

"Honest to Goodness" means "Really; for sure" . . . (no hyphens needed).

So I don't get the title of your thread. :? :?

it means it's from a real american.

So what is a "really; for sure" or even "real" American? :?

One that supports their President, or not?

it means we have freedom here.

Yeah, the freedom to be arrested in the middle of the street or at an airport for looking "suspicious" and then get sent off to Guantanamo for a close encounter of the torturous kind and by the time your loved ones manage to find you you'll be better off in a mental institution courtesy of the "freedom" champion himself G.W.Bush.

Unfortunately, the US majority voted for Bush twice. Bush supports the war in Iraq and he also supports war in Iran, N. Korea, Libya, Syria and every country that it is not "owned" by US interests. The majority of Americans are either stupid/uneducated or misinformed.

no, the majority of americans voted for someone other than Bush, both times. Bush is a self - appointed ego-maniac.

How is that possible if he is still in power???

Its laughable reading all your anti-american rants, whilst enjoying the freedom to say them under the umbrella of the USA security and commitments.
I wish they would ignore the rougue states like Iran/ N.korea / Syria to show you ungrateful lot what it is you enjoy and then have the cheek to complain about.

To Kurepetos and Get Real: America is a paradise of freedom and liberty. While no one elected the American's as the morale compass of the world, until someone else come along bigger and badder...deal with it.

You have every right to espouse your misguided beliefs, albeit if you lived in the "Axis of Evil" as Kurepetos states, they would send you to prison for your beliefs. In America we have freedom of religion, speech and the pursuit of happiness...yeah that's right...we have an right to happiness :o
Yeah Baby!!!!

If the mediocre lifestyle of the average American citizen is that "freedom" some of you often boast; that is causing the death and destruction to incalculable others around the world, then I piss on both your "country" and "freedom" because it’s not even worth a single bullet being fired!

I see now. Over here all I heard was Bush and Kerry. Obviously there must have been smaller parties represented. Majority wins. Thanks GG.
