Thank you Raziye and Halil for your welcome and for an excellent lunch.
I'm impressed with the work of the Cancer Association and I'm please to note that the co operation between the ROC Hospitals and the Association is beyond political considerations.
We will carry on our efforts in the UK to support the Cancer Association , as I told you my friend Kafenes whom I met in Paphos on Monday the 10th has advised me of a fund raising event taking place in Paphos I believe later on in the year and we shall support their efforts.
I'm posting a separate thread on a huge talent I discovered on my way to Nicosia yesterday.
In the meantime any Cypriots wishing to make a donation to Tulip Cancer Assoc. kindly email me.

Keep up the good work everyone. This is a terrible disease that either has affected or will affect all of us in our lifetime either via our family or friends. I did the walk for Breast Cancer in March this year and raised over 400 pounds. I was really pleased and also knackered after the walk. I will do in again - next one in 2 years time so watch this space as I will be looking for more sponsors.

I met this young man , Hikmet , a UK Cypriot who along with his family returned to Cyprus a few year back.
It is admirable that he devotes a lot of his time in helping out at the Cancer Association , and that he epitomises all young UK Cypriots who see Cyprus as their country and all Cypriots as their countrymen .
I wish him all the best with his studies and hope that along with other young Cypriots helps in creating an atmosphere of cooperation , good will and trust amongst our people.

Tonight at 8:00 there will be a play by the Amfora Youth Group at the AKM Lefkosa next to the Library. Entrance will be 5YTL and all profit will be donated to our association. It would be lovely to have you there.
