*WARNING* OUR BEAUTIFUL WIENMARNER POISONED IN CHLORIKA

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Highlander,

Sorry to hear about your dog being "murdered". Even though your dog was in the safety of your car, it did not save him. I'm very certain that you will get another dog when the time is right for you, and your new dog may also face the same outcome as Zicco did. May I suggest to you and all others with animals that are left alone for a while and that they are out of your immediate view, is to have them muzzled while you are gone, so that they are not able to eat anything that is thrown at them. I'm not sure if all muzzles are designed to protect them from eating, and if not, it may be worth the money and the effort to get a special one made for your dogs.

Hey !, that's a great idea Kikapu, muzzle your dog when you leave it unattended in the confined space of your car in scorching temperatures, that way, on your return (and finding your dog dead) there can be no question of a maniacal 'Dog Poisoner' on the loose.

The owner would be forced to accept responsibility for his/her own negligence, thus sparing the population of Cyprus the prospect of being branded a nation of animal "Murderers" (as you choose to put it).

Would it not be more accurate to assume that the owner (in this case) unable to face the consequences of his negligent action, sought to lay the blame elsewhere in a most vile manner ?.

I know where my money would be placed, in the event of a 'Book' being made upon the actual likelihood of negligence being the sole cause of the unfortunate animals demise.

Confession is good for the soul (so it is said) perhaps the owner should 'Front Up' (no, not the kilt  ) and accept that his actions were absolutely unacceptable in this case (details of which I have thoroughly perused).(IMHO)

I totally agree with Floda ...

Having experienced the searing heat of even a January spot of sunshine in Cyprus ... to leave a dog unattended in a car (and in a supermarket car park  ) should be a Criminal Offence ...

Hang on isn't it already ... :?

HIGHLANDER ... you should be ashamed of yourself neglecting your dog like that and then blaming it on some "mysterious poisoner" ... so convenient, so easy ... :(

Holmes? :?

I once had a dog, it met with a tragic accident and the person responsible readily admitted his involvement in bringing about my loss.

Knowing the circumstances and understanding the events which led up to the dog's death, DOES serve to relieve the grief one feels.

Had I neglected my 'Friend' and then sought to lay the blame elsewhere, I am sure my pain at his loss would be greater, the TRUTH is always the easier route in the long run since the alternative is detrimental to the character of the one that seeks solace in imagined scenarios.

I am not quite the chap I was in the days when my old 'Friend and Companion' dogged my every footstep BUT, I do know that during his life, I was as dependable to him as he was to me.

I miss him greatly.

Thank you for your kind thoughts Oracle, see how my sadness endows you with further grace in that you have shown compassion and understanding at my loss.

Pity the blindness of those who are unable to recognize such qualities, I perceive that you have also suffered during the course of your life.

God Bless You. X. :)

Enter the 'Belarephon', just as two members were savouring the tranquility of a civilized exchange of views.

THE HAIRY ARSED SAVAGE CHARGES IN WITH ALL ARMS AKIMBO !!.

Simmer down old chap, regardless of where you may be at present, you cannot leave your negligent deeds behind you, they will haunt you until you accept your responsibility.

As to Adolf Hitler, I am quite honoured that you should grant me such distinction that you make comparisons between us.

THAT man almost conquered the entire world, YOU couldn't even survive a few short months in Cyprus despite all your 'Huff and Puff' about what you were going to do here.

I have read many of your past posts and I stand by my initial appraisal of you in that I think you are a load of old bollocks !.

By the way, as a 'Dog Lover' I also think you should be ashamed of yourself.
