Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

THE HIGHLANDER, thank you for confirming the cause of your poor dog's fate and may I once again express my sympathy?, was the veterinary surgeon able to suggest what the poison might have been and how it was administered ?, it does seem to have taken effect very rapidly and it would be useful to know more about it.

I had a black Labrador as a boy, it was run over and my Father replaced it a week later with a cream one, I would offer you the same advice. Best Wishes.

Our Labrador is cream (wheaten officially).

Aren't they the best friend a little boy could have ? :)

I'm really dreading that day.

My son is ten and is besotted with the dog (3 years old). I just hope our dog makes it to 15 so that my son is old enough to handle it.

Sounds like the loss never fades.

phoenix, to lose a dog in an accident is a terrible event to deal with emotionally (for a child), to lose one after many years of companionship is a bereavement.

I cannot imagine how one would feel (or deal) with such a loss as THE HIGHLANDER has suffered, his anger is understandable under the circumstances.

Eliko, any loss of a pet is berevavement.
i lost my long term companion cat a year and a half ago. she was creamated, and i wear part of her ashes in a necklace. i found another cat, a smaller version of the love of my life, but she is an older gal. she came with irratable bowel syndrom, unbeknownst to me. when i took her to the vet the next day, and told him she had diarrhea all over the place, he said "I hope you didn't just adopt a cat with IBS," to which i replied "you know what doc, i love her, and if i did, i will deal with it. it's til death do us part!" I was madly in love with her from the moment i saw her. and i may have her only a year now, if she died tomorrow, she would become a second necklace. sometimes it doeesn't matter if it's only a day, or 15 years, the amount of love can still be the same.

It's becoming acceptable to have the ashes of a pet pressed into a diamond that you can turn into jewellery and keep forever. . .

Sweet :)

THE HIGHLANDER wrote:It will be 2 weeks on wednesday since our beloved prize dog ZICCO was poisoned in the main carpark in chlorika village by evil cypriot bastards, having left all the windows a jar and just given him water we went to the internet cafe for 30minutes and on our return our beautiful dog was dead, later confirmed as poisoning, recently there have been another 3 cases of dogs poisoned in Chlorika village centre,in disgust i have now moved from that shitehole of a village,if anyone has info or thinks they might know whos responsible for killing inocent dogs in cars in chlorika please let me know as i will personaly give the bastards the same fate they gave my dog !!!!!!!

Highlander,

really sorry to hear about ZICCO death, msy be F awful for you guys.

I can't help wondering though, if a dog is out and about and eats something poisonous i can understand that to some extent, but to be poisoned whilst IN your car leads me to 2 possible conclusions.

1. There really is some sick F out there, so we should all beware

2. This person(s) has something against you personally and wished to hurt you.

Its too much of a coincidence that someone will be walking about with the shit in his/her pocket waiting for some poor creature to be left unattended IN a car, before they do their dirty deed.

So mate, just keep your wits about you, and ask around, you may get lucky and find the git. Have you informed the police at all? It maybe worth it.

good luck in your search
