Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Not me - as you can see from my earlier comment. Nor do I recollect anyone else suggesting that little Maddie was dead, even if it is a sad possibility.

You might find this link a little more explanatory.

When the parents were back in the UK on visit, shouldn't the Social Services have warned them of possible charges of neglet?
Those 3 children (4 years and under) should not have been left unattended, which, I'm sure means that they have contributed, even if it wasn't intentional, to the dissapearnce of the child.
None of my four children were left unattended until much older.

Maddy's father also suspect. If it was in the UK they would have been held in custody. In Portugal they are still free with no charges yet.

I'm affraid there is no smoke without fire and I think something will come out very soon. There are many things which don't add up and I still don't understand what their trust fund is for and why they are asking for donations. There is now over £1 million in this fund!!....and I don't know how the yellow bands will help find the little girl.. :?:

interesting how they have now returned the UK. I would imagine if they were charged by the police in Portugal they would then be detained until trial. Returning to the UK means they would have to be extradited to face charges, i imagine this would take a while and would mean they are free to do as they please in the meantime.

Had Portguese law allowed them to be detained, can you imagine the clamour from the UK? Innocent till proven and all that c..p? Yet in the UK they would have been remanded in custody on that suspicion. Double standards.
Being in EU, I think the extradition would not be too difficult. Why do you think they have three laywers acting on their behalf now. They will be ready to return. Mark my word.
