(i'm tired already)
How do you cope with Vet bills, GG? I have six and last night Smokey got mauled either by a dog or a fox. Tonight I will ask around to see if there were any witnesses., and then go and make our South African Vets even richer. I curse myself for not taking out Insurance. Cant live without them.
they aren't all my pets! this is what i do for a living. i only have 3 cats. i own a pet sitting/dog walking business--the pet industry in the USA is incredible--you can make ALOT of money.
as for insurance, i had it twice, felt it was a waste. never paid for anything. i wouldn't recommend it at all.
My wife would love to swap jobs with you. Do you wanna swap?
it's a great job, but i work long hours--sometimes 15 hours a day, and it's a 7 day a week job. this is why i am still single. no time to have a social life or date. i TRY to take a weekend off a month, but it really works out more like a weekend every other month. my feet hurt from walking all day, but my blood pressure is great, and my weight is down from when i worked in an office.
i have a blog, you can read about the adventures of pet sitting here:

i have to learn to say no sometimes--it gets so busy i can get really burned out.
so yes, i would like to swap (jobs), but only for a week or two!
Jobs that is!
