Why are so many Tc's getting ROC identity cards ?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Is it any surprise that TCs express reluctance even fear at what awaits any settlement when you post this kind of threat ?

Are you suggesting that the "TC"s fear that they may be found guilty?

So they hide behind the Turkish Army to avoid facing justice for their crimes?

Genuine repentance is what matters, and then we can all TRULY move forward.

I think you will find that It is the "RoC' that has assumed that position...Just before the Annan Plan referendum they found that they will be liable to 50 billion pounds if unification happens and the last minute OXI happened...Now we are getting all this crap about why they really rejected the Annan plan. The world realises where the guilt lies my friend and so does the "RoC'....

That is genuinely crazy talk. I'd be terrified of your lynch-mob-meets-kangaroo-court peace plan.

So they hide behind the Turkish Army to avoid facing justice for their crimes?

Now that reads as if you already know what the verdict will be. Curious that, isn't it ?

But enough of that nonsense.

Zan we are not talking about the same thing ( ).
(See previous post, page 2)
It is the crimes against treason for cowardice in siding with a foreign country (Turkey), instead of protecting the RoC in 1974, that the "TC"s should face trial for.

No, the implication of guilt was in your statement.

This is getting silly. I'd have thought there was more than enough to argue in what people actually say without having to drag out some spurious and tenuous implication of something I haven't said.

(For the record I didn't and don't assume guilt. Guilt is to be proved or otherwise, not assumed and prejudged).

Before I go, Phoenix, your cunning peace plan -reminds me of Stalin's approach to fair trials in the 1930s - also calls for collective punishment for so-called collective crimes of TCs commiting treason. As you'll know already, collective punishment is illegal under international law.

(Incidentally does anyone know if there is in fact a crime of 'treason' in RoC law ?)

I never once said COLLECTIVE; please see above posts; I only used INDIVIDUAL.

Yes there is but it is not mandatory and only applies at time of war.

Not quite... you forget the democratic referendum conducted in 1950 which resulted in 96% in favor of enosis.
