This is what Talat and the TCs want!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The Tekke is a site regarded as holy by all Moslems. When ships carryin the flag of a Moslem state sail past Larnaca they lower their flag in a sign of respect. And we should be proud that the place is in the free area, Greek area, call it what you like, of Cyprus and is intact and open to visitors as long as they follow the code of dress.

yes indeed ..and it and 3 other mosques in larnaca ..have been repainted and with fixtures ...when the other side going to do the same ?

What has age to do with anything

I used a perfectly acceptable substitute (t.u.r.d.) for an otherwise unacceptable (in polite company) kind of word (s.h.i.t.) and everybody jumps on my back

A church built of sandstone, is it in Gypsou TC? North of Famagusta? Reminds me of something, but faintly. Nice work!

Oranos,

Ok so we pay, the point is that the churches and mosques get restored. I am not at all religiousm but these places are important to many people of all communities. Repairing them repairs goodwill man, we dont have to be partisan about everything and all the time!

It's in Karpasia Nikitas, as you're driving up towards Dipkarpaz and just down the road from Yeni Erenkoy/Yialousa.

OK, that is why it looked familiar, we took many trips to the area. Once we stopped at that Church for a christening sometime around 1961 or 62. Kid we christened must be a grand parent by now!

nikita ....see my pictures ...i will post them next week of north cyprus

of the churchs from pyla to north tip of the island ...every one destroyed ...

graveyards destroyed ....

whislt we fix the mosques ....do you know the project is costing millions ...

whist in larnaca we have people living on the bread line in conditions that digust even cockroachs ...

i have myslef and a few others have posted lists ...of freebies given up by southern cypriots for the north

i dislike the fact that our resources ...are being stretched to appease polticians and the like ...whilst the truth of how bad southern cyprus is suffering is not told .

breadline families have shot up by 23% whilst resources in hospitols in the south cannot cope with TCS coming over ...

all wrong in my book ..all wrong ..
