Hi hindmarshm

Are you using a pseudonom?

I ask this because the clubs you mention are 3 Top English clubs and I dont recall the name Hindmarsh as being a regular first teamer for any (apologies if wrong)

The Cypriot 1st Division is now of a pretty high standard and the top clubs are getting better each year , you may remember Anorthosis in the Champions league last seson only just missed out on the last 16 group stages in the final match of the first stage. and both Apoel and Omonioa did pretty well in the UEFA cup.

I could easily compare the first division Cyprus to championship standard in England and Celtic and Rangers apart to the SPL

Once you get out of the top half dozen clubs in Cyprus you will struggle to make a living from football alone so you may have to consider part time.

If you are indeed a 'name' and were a regular player for the 3 teams you mentioned then maybe you could put a bit more about your career here on forum as there are certain members who have contacts with the big clubs in Cyprus

regards

Richard

Highest paid player in Apoel is around 600,000 Euros right now...Omonoia is dishing out a few million Euro contracts. But we're talking about first team players from leading teams in Portugal and Scotland.

Hi DT

I don't know what your involvement is with Apoel but i am considering a move to Cyprus to continue playing football.

A little about me, i am a Welsh Professional footballer and i am currently under contract with Stjarnan FC in the Icelandic Premier League. I spent my youth career at Swansea City and later signed for Cardiff City Youth on a part time contract. I am a Welsh international at U19's and U20's playing in the Milk Cup and the European u19 Championship playing against Norway, Hungary, Paraguay, Ireland, Scotland, Andorra to name a few. I have played in the UEFA Cup for Cwmbran Town against Maccabi Haifi and prior to signing for Stjarnan FC i had a 4yr contract in the states with SCAD earning the highest accolades (All American Honours) a long the way.

I am looking for a new club abroad before the summer transfer window closes, is there anyway you can help me out or point me in the right direction???

I have an up to date CV which i can forward upon request.

Thanks
Richard Hurlin

Your best bet is to visit the link Get Real posted above and fax them your cv. Apoel has finished its transfers since the season started early for us. We're currently in the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League so the roster had to be completed from June.
