Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

One man and his one question kept so many busy arguing, raising voices, swearing and threatening.

And in the end the man who asked the question answered his own question, "Know thyself" all well and good BUT.......

free_cyprus wrote:besicaly education is when one knows themselves and one what one wants in life and they go after it and they get it,

The man who quoted the above does basically not "Know thyself" and can not "go after it and get it" as seen and as pointed it out by many and also admitted by himself, his spelling. Clearly he does not want to learn to spell and hence the reason why he does not go out and get it but is very keen to prove to others he knows what "Real education" is but isn't interested in it himself. :roll:

And most who replied are/were very keen to prove him wrong and boast about their own education and what and how much they know about cucumbers.

One goes as far as calling f_c a "Dumb Turk" and then claims he is not a racist. He laughs at f_c's spelling but makes plenty of spelling mistakes himself. He then claims he does not know if f_c is a TC or a GC but then threatens f_c and says "I know who he is and I'll catch up with him soon". DOOOOH!

Thanks guys, it's been a real education.

you seem to be educated in the field of idiots,

I really don't need to mention where you got your education from, everyone including you, knows it very well.

since your reply tells me your a proffesional in your field, abviously you did not read all that has been writen about education in this thread, and yet you pick up on my spelling, a subject that was covered here before in depth.

It may have been cowered in depth in another thread but the only thing you said about your spelling in this thread is almost the same as you said above to someone else who picked on your spelling. "know thyself" and know what you have written where.

heres a question for you Eric dayi??????

Ok, I'm ready, shoot?

WHEN YOU SPEAK WITH SOMEONE FACE TO FACE YOU SPEAK THE SPOKEN WORD AND NOT THE WRITEN WORD,

WOW  now here's something I really didn't know. The "real education" in this forum is just unbelievable.

Amazing.

Fantastic.

Odda this world man.

You godda tell me where you learned this.

CAN YOU TELL ME IF YOU CAN DETECT THAT THE PERSON YOUR SPEAKING TO VERBALY CAN SPELL OR NOT WHEN IT COMES TO WRTING?

I can ask him if he can spell "you are" either in short or long form, that'll give me an idea if he can spell or is a parrot.

I wasn't exactly picking on your spelling capabilities f_c, I picked on that just to point out your hypocrisy. You start a thread to boast about your knowledge of "real education" and that one can go out and get it if he/she wants to but then try and come up with all sorts of excuses why you can't spell.

So tell me, how comes you can preach to others that they can go out and get it but you don't go out and get it?

Here's a little education for you, it's no use knowing the answer to a question if you don't know how to use that knowledge.

You know the answer but you either don't want to use it, don't know how to use it, are too lazy to use it or just simply luck the capacity to make any use of the "real education" you boast to be blessed with.

this is a valid question

Oh yes and very "educational" too.

It's Eric and never has been "Paul" miltiades, or is it GR?

anyway both bloody foreigners

Racist twat.

whose only interest is promoting a state of events in our country in order that our nation may remain permanently divided.

"Our country" was divided by Greek and Greek Cypriot greed for expanding the borders of Greece as was the case in Crete, Macedonia and other islands around Turkey.

Certainly education and common sense are not attributes these two impostors possess.

We have seen your "common sense" in your racism miltiades, or is it Oranos64?

I would say though that in order to do this you usually need money which means (unless you have a rich family) you need to earn a good wage - this tends to come out of a good school/college education.

Au contraire Niki, since you are now resident in Lemesos, you will no doubt be aware of the various nationalities resident there also.

If you make an effort to associate with them, you will gain a wide experience of what is taking place in the world, 'from the horses mouth' as it were.

Relying on what we read in the newspapers and are served up through other media sources, is a certain route to a blind alley.

Give it a shot, you may be surprised.

Best Wishes in what I think is your 'New Home' ?. :)

Spot on and precisely why I made this point Eliko. Moving to Cyprus has opened up a wider world to us and my children are also growing up and experiencing far more cultural diversity than in the UK. This is so important and one of the reasons why we moved here. :D

f_c, I couldn't care less where you got your education from, it's irrelevant. However, boasting about the level of your education and claiming that you know the answer is nothing less than showing off and dumb.

BTW f_c, go back and read your postings since I posted my first posting in this thread and tell me what you see.

free_cyprus, I too am a proponent of education as a cure for many of the world's diseases, metaphorically speaking. In light of your allegations about Cypriots, how do you propose the entire society come to "know themselves" so as to affect a change in its current political status.

To whoever's interested in my opinion on the issue of proper spelling: the purpose of language, written or oral, is to communicate one's thoughts and feelings. Judging from the responses to his posts, free cyprus has done this quite effectively despite his spelling errors, so let's get off his case.

the strongest emotion any person has is love and to have total love within yourself, you must love yourself as a person with all your shortcoming. secondly you must have the strenth to forgive without forgiveness ones mind is poisond forever and the only result they get whoever they are is negative each time they think of the wrong done to them,

on this forum ever one is trying to score points as to who is right and who is wrong, regarding cyprus they put alot of shit here blaming each side when they shoudl be thinking independently in harmony as to how to find a solution, and while they have this false concept that they are turks and greeks there will be no solution to cyprus and if they do find one it will be done by outsiders like before.....................

can you tell me how a small island like cyprus that has been invaded and ruled for over 3000 years can emerge as turks and greeks. how is this possible has nobody in this forum got the brains to ask that question

secondly when they say im turkish cypriot and greek cypriot they actualy devide our own people, we speak two languages thats where it stops ........................... are we greeks and turks?????????????

I am a Turkish Cypriot and I wished to be addressed and known as a Turkish Cypriot. The question is, do you have any problems with my wish?
