WHAT IS REAL EDUCATION??????????

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Life experience. Widening your horizons and learning about and understanding different cultures.

I would say though that in order to do this you usually need money which means (unless you have a rich family) you need to earn a good wage - this tends to come out of a good school/college education.

Au contraire Niki, since you are now resident in Lemesos, you will no doubt be aware of the various nationalities resident there also.

If you make an effort to associate with them, you will gain a wide experience of what is taking place in the world, 'from the horses mouth' as it were.

Relying on what we read in the newspapers and are served up through other media sources, is a certain route to a blind alley.

Give it a shot, you may be surprised.

Best Wishes in what I think is your 'New Home' ?. :)

phoenix, in which of the three categories would you place yourself ?.

An old adage states that 'Ignorance is Bliss'

Unfortunately, the person who first coined the phrase must have been unhappy, since he realized that fact.

every living person on thsi planet who is able who is mobile who has abrain that functions is educated make no mistake about that, what differs between people is how much education one has in regards to himself as i said before education is not information given to you at univercity that propares you for a certain job in life.

Absolutely right on Niki, positive proof that there is more to advancement than the ability to read and write.

Intelligence is superior to education, particularly if it is combined to an inquisitive and enquiring mind.

On the basis that you deem to ask me the question then I assume I do not readily fall into any obvious ontological category.

Regarding my quote, I took some liberties with Aristotle
