Is Cyprus warm enough for a holiday in early march?

Postby raysue » Sun Sep 02, 2007 5:33 pm

Hi everyone,we are a family of four thinking about a holiday in Cyprus next year, but we are wondering if paphos will be warm enough in early march? And has anyone ever stayed at the akteon village and enjoyed it there?? March the 1st we are looking to go. Thanks for any help you can part with,Ray and Sue.

Hi Ray and Sue. Weather in March is unpredictable. You can have a scorcher of a day then the next day could have rain. Had friends come over in April 2005 and the weather during that week was horrible, 4 days of rain, so they didn't get to enjoy their holiday.

Hi Ray March is unpredictable like Hazza said. We find Autumn a safer bet.

If you do visit Cyprus I recommend the Paphos area along with a hired car, plenty of people here will give you the name of decent hire companys.

No matter what time of year you choose I reckon Cyprus is better than anywhere else. Just don't stay in the hotel all the time, get out and meet the people.

Paphos will be soooooooooo quiet that time of year. Alot will be closed. But hey, if that's what you want. Weather wise as Hazza said, very unpredictable.

We'll all be praying for rain :(
