Filitsa wrote:Welcome back, Eliko. The article I made mention to was about student protests regarding the economy, employment opportunities, education, and other things. Like I wrote above, it was a short AP article that my local newspaper picked up, but unfortunately the paper has since been delivered to the recycling center. I've tried searching online to no avail. Sorry to have wasted your time.

If two Cubans were arguing about who's dog crapped on the other's garden Eliko wold come up with some warped reason about 'it's all the fault of the Evil West'.

The most impoverished island that could have been so wonderful for the Cubans , those that are still there and haven't risked life and limp to escape to the " decadent " USA .
The Cubans want the Americans to have a base in Cuba , it brings in spare parts for their 60 year old cars. As for the beard , he has been the most catastrophic leader that any nation has had the misfortune to have. A bloody dictator who through sheer force and brutality has managed to retain power for so many years.

Pleased to see our BL empathizer , in his humble opinion , on top form !!
I wonder if the Beard enjoys a glass or two !!

latest news about Cuba on bayrak tv was.
a frail-looking Cuban President Fidel Castro has appeared in his first television interview in three months, ending speculation that he had died.

Speaking in a low voice Castro mentioned the recent surge in oil prices and the current value of the euro against the dollar, establishing that the interview was recorded in recent days.

He also showed a copy of a book by former US Federal Reserve chairman Alan Greenspan, which was published during the past week.

The 81-year-old's failure to appear on his birthday on August 13 fuelled rumors among his opponents in America that he had had a major health setback or had already died.

Castro handed over control of the communist island to his younger brother, Raul Castro, in July 2006 after emergency intestinal surgery.
He has not appeared in public since then.

Chemical Ali (One of Saddam's henchmen) who is already under sentence of death, is now on trial for crimes against humanity in just one incident he was responsible for 100,000 deaths.
Nice innocent man indeed.

He has not appeared in public since then.

This is not a communist island it is a police state/dictatorship void of any form of democracy.
Who elected Raul Castro, does being someones brother give him the right to rule?
