Shut up Paliometoxo or I will set my mother on to you.
Cyprus is not a Greek (either with a capital or lower case) island.
...... so go and get your salary from the CIA, you have done your job.

There's entire threads covering these issues from the past and I'm not in the mood to start another one. The last thing I need right now is another gathering of fucked-in-the-head kalamarades trying to tell me that my ancestors weren't important enough to be called Cypriot and should therefore be called Greek!

I've never mentioned it coz I didn't actually speak to this person so I don't know how true her story is, but if anything I thought it would of been the TCs who would infact be GCs but how would you be able to explain it the other way round?
Sounds like porkies doesn't it?

That the Greeks left their mark on MANY cultures, Persians, Egyptians etc is undisputable.
Cyprus is not unique in having Greek influence, considering its proximity.
BUT: Don't use DNA data with me Oranos
For I know that it is just as likely that Cypriots sailed to Greece and left their DNA on Greek soil, as it is the other way around.
The Cypriots are just as enterprising as the Greeks and have been in the vicinity LONGER.
