Shut up Paliometoxo or I will set my mother on to you.

Cyprus is not a Greek (either with a capital or lower case) island.

...... so go and get your salary from the CIA, you have done your job.

really ...why have we got greek helenic art in cyprus ...Greek culture ,ancient greek buildings ,medicals records and language of byzantine and greek ,,why have archelogists in my area found ancient greek settlements from 600bc ...why up the road have we found greek stables and medicines /reseach labs for massge in arathioppou ..from 1600 ad

who came here in mulitudes around 1000ad-1300ad ,,,was it the chinese or Greeks ...

why ,,,because greeks from greece was the dominate race and culture ont he island until the Turks/ottomans invaded ..

was not the eastern end of the island mainly greek ...and the west too ...
i think yes ..

cyprus was and always will be a greek island ....yes we are more a mix of races ..but we cannot deny ..the DNA .root mapping shows ...65% of Greeks in cyprus ...are from Greece ...southern GREECE

phoenix ...i am going to hunt you down ...cyprus is a small place ...

That the Greeks left their mark on MANY cultures, Persians, Egyptians etc is undisputable.
Cyprus is not unique in having Greek influence, considering its proximity.

BUT: Don't use DNA data with me Oranos

For I know that it is just as likely that Cypriots sailed to Greece and left their DNA on Greek soil, as it is the other way around.

The Cypriots are just as enterprising as the Greeks and have been in the vicinity LONGER.

GR
There's entire threads covering these issues from the past and I'm not in the mood to start another one. The last thing I need right now is another gathering of fucked-in-the-head kalamarades trying to tell me that my ancestors weren't important enough to be called Cypriot and should therefore be called Greek!

my sentiments exactly .......... now all we need is the majority of GC's and TC's to accept this view and wella no more Cypro. Everyone back to their homes and lives and here's your solution. Oh God when will this day come?

The British visit and settle in Spain in droves too so according to your calculations how long do you think before Spain is called "British Spain"? :?

cyprus was and always will be a greek island ....yes we are more a mix of races ..but we cannot deny ..the DNA .root mapping shows ...65% of Greeks in cyprus ...are from Greece ...southern GREECE

And where did you get that info from a gazandi?

Actually...my mum has a friend who claims to knows someone who was doing research for the RoC. It was about ethnicity and to cut a long story short they found out theres A LOT of Turks living as Greeks in the RoC and were told to get rid of the whole "project"... :?

I've never mentioned it coz I didn't actually speak to this person so I don't know how true her story is, but if anything I thought it would of been the TCs who would infact be GCs but how would you be able to explain it the other way round? :?

Sounds like porkies doesn't it?
