Interesting point Southerner.

Sugar plus additives and alcohol would be a peculiar mix.

A psychiatrist called MacArness (spelling?) wrote a book many years ago titled "Not All in the Mind" recording his observations of foods inducing psychotic or near psychotic behavior. Effect varied between individuals but almost everyone seems to have a food that will trigger strange behavior.

I am quite sane,Nikitas, and i live in the UK,and it just happens to be going down the toilet right now. It all needs addressing from top to bottom. The total gun ban is just an idea, something i would like to see. Won't ever happen of course, just my opinion. Did i say ban all guns in Cyprus? Someone else started this thread, about the yob culture in the UK,so what has banning guns in Cyprus got to do with it? Those words never left my mouth,or rather,my fingertips.

Ray the real victims of Hungerford and Dunblane were those shot and those who's hobby was target shooting etc. why should genuine enthusiasts be penalised because the system allowed members of the public to own an AK47 Kalashnikov (spelling), as far as I'm aware not one member of the genuine shooting fraternity has been convicted of firearm offences, the guy at Hungerford slipped through the net, I was only passed for a firearms certificate because my shooting club vouched for me.

16 is too young for conscription. Even during the war, it started at 18, with deferment for those in education. I did mine after I graduated.

You have raised a very good argument, southener,i take my hat off to you. I am not sure how gun clubs work, and a life sentence for carrying guns will,no doubt, never happen. But just supposing it did,how would YOU make it work for people in clubs, such as yourself and bill? Now then southener,if YOU were prime minister?......

You know what they say about gun-toting? The gun is an extension of your penis. Maybe if you can get a gun up, it's because you are impotent (certainly mentally so).

Violence begets violence. Jesus said, "All they that take the sword shall perish with the sword". This implies that using arms is un-Christian.

I look forward to the day when no gun, or other weapon promoting man's inhumanity to man, exists, except possibly in museums to show how primitive we were needing such weapons. However, I wonder whether I'll see it this millennium???
