Nobody got banned (yet)
I started to "clean up" but it is quite a mess. So I just locked several threads. I hope this will be enough and banning of members will not be required.
Please avoid the following:
1) We all know
Google and how do use the internet.
This forum doesn't need to carry duplicate content that exists elsewhere on the net. This is a forum, not an online newspaper. If you want to discuss an article you can do it. Post a link to it, maybe include a small quote
and say your opinion about the article in more than just one-two lines.
2) Don't waste your and our time by posting 100 useless one line posts. Instead use this time to write a well thought post that would be a valuable contribution.
3) Swearing, derogatory comments, mocking etc is not exactly quality content. So if you can not make a post without the above "ingredients", then don't post at all.
4) "Chatting". If you want to have light conversations please do so in the General forum, using private messages, or by going to a chat room. The "politics" forums are not suitable for this kind of chat.
Before you press the post button think: "Am I violating any of the forum rules?", "Am I adding something valuable to the discussion?", "Is what I am about to post on topic?". If the answer to any of these questions is "no"
do not post.
This forum has many members that proved that have the abilities to write content of very high quality. Unfortunately non, with the exception of Alexandros, is trying to keep the quality high in all cases. If you notice a bad post, don't reply to it. Send a PM to the Admin (me) and if the post is indeed a bad one it will be erased.
I am sure most of you have other interests apart from the Cyprus problem and politics. So you can write your one-two quality posts whenever you can, and then you can write 100s more if you want in the "General" forums were the "strict" rules do not apply
P.S This is the "Cyprus problem -
how can we solve it". So it is not about "wining" an argument. "Winning" arguments will not solve our problem.
