I'm not having a go here I just would like to know why you are able to build these places if it's not permitted by your relegion.

Coz Turkish Mafia had to find somewhere else to move when it was not allowed anymore in Turkey some years ago..and North Cyprus was the paradise on earth for them...
And Islam in Turkey is ruled by Zionists..So every1 is happy :P

I have not been to northern Cyprus yet, dont know if I will ever go. But I note the use of plural "casinos", that means there is more than one? How many are there? If more than one then we gather that there is enough business to support more than one?

The greater Athens area has a population of 4 million and one casino which is apparently sufficient for the needs of the local gamblers, how many do you need to cover the needs of one million people in Cyprus?

there is about 25-30 licenced casinos operating and they bring their own business from abroad...
Last few years the authorities started giving licences to them to open up betting shops also...thats how the locals started getting involved...otherwise locals are not permitted on casino premisses..

Hi everyone. I'm GC that lives in the UK. I just wanted to ask the TC's from the North about the casinos. I'm very confused as you guy's are Muslim's. Why do you allow these places to be built as muslims do not believe in gamling.

Very few TCs are practising Muslims. Ramazan starts in a little over a week. The restaurants and the bars will remain open as always and will not notice any difference in trade. I see that you live in UK. I might as well ask you why shops are all open on Sunday when UK is a Christian country.

The same answer - money doing the talking. Most of the casinos are linked to hotels and tourists from Turkey and GCs (no casinos in the South) come up and spend money in the hotels and money in the casinos.

The casinos in the occupied do:
a)major bussiness: money laudring
b)secondary bussiness: drugs trafiking, prostitution, selling illegal guns, and of course betting bussiness.

The secondary bussiness is often interlinked. E.g if you bet more that 500 pounds and you win, you also get a woman and a hotel room for the night. Or some other bonus e.g a pistol and some bullets.
