Personally i think it doesn't make no difference to me when i hear Phillipino or Syrian or Russian or German on the news... If it bothers you in the first place then i think your brain is stuck on racism etc...

I do like your comment it does not make any difference all men are created equal in the side of God... that something Oranos64 will never understand
P.S i will assume that they began building the new airport in Larnaca or is it an extension?

theodore ...missed your wisdom ...as a man of the church ...and a american citizen i assume ..i am surprised that you cannot understand plain english. did you understand the statement i made or are you protecting the racists ...

the point i made is that the cypriots here are very racist and xenophopic ...most people are treated as 3rd class citizens by the locals if they are not cypriot greeks .

racisim is openly broadcast on tv ,home workers from poorer nations are treated as slaves ...and a entire network of exploitation is organised by the home help providers ...of filopino and chinese workers ..

indeed as you say we are created equally .....but yet society makes and decides our lives ...but no other place i have visited in europe ...is racism so openly acceptted ....and encoraged

a week ago a study on this was rubbished and dumbed down by the state to protect the racketers etc who exploit these poor people ...

by the way ...let me ask are you ,are you orthodox chrisitain or one of these new trendy western bible bashers ...

when was the last time you visited the island lazarus visited ?

Really lucky that no one was seriously hurt and the company assure everyone that the airport is still on schedule for completion? What about the welfare of the injured workers? No mention of compensation. I guess they will want to try and point the finger of blame down to the workers!
