Clothes Shopping

Postby carazychic » Tue Aug 28, 2007 4:27 pm

Hi,
I am going on holidays to Cyprus in two weeks staying in Ayia Napa, i was wondering are there any good clothes shops there or where is best for shopping? Is there a River Island store in Cyprus, as i heard there was but i cant seem to find it on any searches. If there is, where is it? Please help. Thanx. 8)

Cyprus is not the place to buy clothes let alone Ayia Napa unless you want to be over charged.

carazychic, welcome to the forum and best wishes to you, please do not take offence at the comments of dms007 since they are actually quite valid.

Unfortunately Agia Napa has become rather infamous for it's abandonment of acceptable behaviour over the years, nothing wrong with enjoying yourself but where to draw the line.

Hope you enjoy your holiday nonetheless, I don't think there are any 'River Island' clothing stores there and you may be surprised at how small your requirements are when it comes to dress, providing the weather remains as it is at the moment.

I was told by my neighbour that Ayia Napa has fabulous beaches and is great for a family holiday, depends on where you stay! I am going there next week for a couple of days so will let you know! 8)

Niki, Agia Napa does have lovely beaches and the facilities there for families are great (during the day), unfortunately the club scene in the evening and beyond is not to everyones taste and it is in that area that most of the detrimental comments abound.

I have seen examples of behaviour taking place in the evening which are shameful, particularly if young children are around, it is a great pity that such a nice location should attract such bad publicity.

Great fun for the young and fancy free mind, don't particularly object myself but do consider the family holidaymaker's opinion, bit of a let down in that respect.
