i tell u another thing MR EPSİLON ; we show our TRNC passports to American Embassy office in TRNC and we can get a visa to travel to the USA. what they do they do is give u a seperate booklet which looks like a passport with yr visa inside. So why should İ bother to get a 'ROC' passport?

to go to UK or rest of the world we can use passport from TURKEY.
İf we want to find the ways. There are lots.İ want u to think about WHO PUT US İN THİS POSİTİON !!!!!

Dear friend my question was just to understand how the international law is working and as I can understand from your reply it is still valid. The other ways you can find is not of our interest-

My understanding is that Morphou is the base for Grey Wolves so perhaps that has something to do with it, being so close to Astromeritis.

Once again thanks

Humanist, you are safe to cross. Gay people are much appreciated in the North. There'll be lots of hot young man waiting to welcome you

What I find irritating about this insurance thing, is that it started by the TC side at the price of £ 4.00
So the GCs followed and set the price at £4.00 as well. Notice however there is a huge difference between the 2 insurances. The TC insurance is a basic 3rd party insurance that only covers injuries, and even for those the amount is limited. The GC insurance on the other hand, covers also material damage as well as unlimited amounts for injuries.

So if a TC crashes with a Mercedes in the free areas, he will pay absolutely nothing out of his pocket. If the same happens to a GC in the occupied, he will have to pay everything from his pocket despite the fact he had an insurance. THAT insurance doesn't cover such things.

We also had such insurances in the past, they costed us about £40 per year, compared to the new type which costs minimum £130. So the 2 insurances ARE NOT of the same value and DO NOT offer the same coverage.

Then for some strange reason the TC side decided to milk a bit more the Gcs and increased the price to £6.00 then to £8.00 now at £10.00. The Gcs of course did the same (obviously as a reaction to the stupid policies of the TC side). The sale of insurances at the checkpoints btw IS NOT a free trade item. It is controlled.

What's absolutely ridiculous is he TCs today charge you £10 for a 3 day insurance (or is it for one day) whereas you can easily get a TC insurance for A WHOLE YEAR for just £45!! (they do issue those at he checkpoint too if you ask)

Big Dutch think of it this way man:what could possibly happen to you if (God forbit)you had an accident in the pseudo? Who could save you? Do you know their "sort of highway" from Nicosia to Famagusta crosses on at least 5 points with side roads from villages ON THE SAME LEVEL as the "highway"? Where else in the whole world a highway ever gets crossed by side roads?

My insurance for the South , purchased at the border clearly states (in english) that cover is third party only and it costs the same as 3rd party cover in the north bought at the border as I understand it.

Its always 3rd party erolz what do you expect for 10 pounds, it only meets the cost of the other car. These people who bitch about everything eg roads insurance toilet paper etc etc are better off staying on their own side, we dont want people like this in the TRNC.
