Hiya Dee...............its up to you but being inside and a village hall space is very limited the one side room is usually taken up by people with their cages and tables etc plus raffle and tombola i think it might be pushing it but if you bring the stuff along we can play it by ear.....getting nervous now.eeeeek!

Hi Pauline

I will stick to the tombola, it might be safer! Especially with the "wuffers" around.

I'm ooking forward to the 14th.

Could anyone wishing to talk to me please email me at [email protected] as I do not always check the forum every day but do my personal emails. Thanks to everyone who is helping these dogs, especially Pauline and her friends who are working very hard to organise the dog show event in the UK to raise funds.

The whole situation is really sad. I live in Larnaca and on my street alone although nearly every house has a dog and a few cats, only a few of them really look after them. At one point we had over 13 cats coming to my house where we would feed them and we have found so many dogs walking around in appalling conditions it's terrible. We've called Animal protection so many times and have taken so many of these animals to the shelters (for those we couldn't find new homes) most of these ignorant people don't even care what happens to their pet. They just go and get a new one until that runs off or gets run over too.

I've spoken to Larnaca Town Hall about introducing a contract system like that in Florida (You need to sign a contract saying you will look after the pet, make sure it gets proper vet visits and food) but I doubt that will ever happen here.
