An interesting set of articles however unless there is no procedure shown - just more of the same information found elsewhere - the "aim" and supporting story behind the IPC.

I found this on the author of the article "Leslie Hardy is the UK Chairman of Wellington Estates Ltd, a North Cyprus property development company." so i do wonder whether the article is written with an angle.

The IPC should be as accessible as the ECHR. Try Googling them both, you get the ECHR and contact details but on the "TRNC" site that shows up you get a load of propaganda and references to the IPC and a heading titled "LINKS". One could reasonably expect there to be a link to the commission - but there is none. Its obvious to me that if the commission advertised they would get more applicants and they would not be able to cope. The IPC is a token gesture that clearly does not function as it should, I hope the ECHR sees this.

The links below might be useful. As far as I understand the IPC is formed of representatives from other EU countries. Norway and Sweden have sent 2 representatives, there are 2 TC representatives and 2 from somewhere else that I am sorrry I can't remember. I think GC's were invited to be part of this "settlement" group but declined the offer. Obviously no GC is going to shout out that they have been through this process as unfortunately they will be villified by the GC government and media. The ECHR are monitoring the IPC work and if GC's are not satisfied with the IPC outcome they can then appeal to the ECHR. However the cases settled to date have been empty properties which therefore could be returned or GC's wanting financial compensation only. The true test will be when someone wants to return to their property and demands the present foreign or TC occupants leave and demolish any property built on their land. By the way there is no such thing as TRNC EXCHANGE land or titles. Calling it this makes people think it is land exchanged between a GC and a TC. In reality the TRNC sells you GC land and holds on to TC titles in the south supposedly to exchange when there is a settlement. The politicians continue to live in their mansions whilst TC and GC live for 30, 40, 50...... years of uncertainty and can't even claim the land or compensation that is rightfully and legally theirs.
