Here'as one of my own. It was meant to be a 30 second radio promo for a club but by popular demand I had to make it a 3 minute dance number. It's all a one man job recorded in my own demo studio.

Very well said i agree with Lena "Have so many favorite songs...and I guess every single one remind me something...music is a way to express things that you cannot express them with words, is a way to keep a memory for ever through a song, is a bond between people...through the music you can move your body letting your feelings come out with the rhythm...music make you relax...old songs new songs...sad songs...happy songs...everybody has his/her way"

My most recent FAVORITE song is a song that i didnt know it excisted until i bumped into it by accident. Its by Queen and its the last song Freddie Mercury sang and wrote before he died. I think its not part of any of their albums and the most unfortunate was that Merciry didnt manage to finish it (lyrics and recording) and Brian May finished it both lyrics and sang it at the recording. You can hear it in YOUTUBE with Mercuries voice up to the last "paragraph" and then Mays voice. that brings tears in my eyes if you think that these were his last words ... The song is called. MOTHER LOVE. give it a shot and id like to year your comments.

Yes Joan..it is sad knowing that those were his last words. I often crash on new songs or old songs that i never heart about them ... but I loved them

Most of my favorite songs are selected because of the lyrics music is of course equally important but if a song has crap lyrics and very good music wont be in my top list.

When I choose songs because of the music the leader in that song is usually a guitar or a piano and rarely violin and saxophone.

I love old Greek music....rembetika, tsiftetelia and zembekika
I love R&B, jazz, pop, alternative, rock, latin, hip-hop, rap, blues ...I have songs from reggae,punk,folk, techno...I even have asian songs

No way you have a weird taste Lena. If somebody really likes and understands music then there are no country and culture boundaries. I like all kinds of music too (when i say i like theres kinds that im not crazy about them but even those kinds have pieces that i really like and that is Opera which i dont like but i really love Andrea Bocelli, Marios Fraggoulis, Sarah Brightman ) Music as you said is expression and if that piece/song touches your heart when you hear it then no matter what kind of music or which country/culture is made by then you will love it.

At my house i have classical, pop rock opera ( the ones i mentioned earlier), country music, jazz, instrumental and new age that i really love, greek music (tratitional and modern) classical music (mostly Bach)indian music and general folk music of lots of countries and ofcourse rock even dolfin and whale sounds with music (thats weird hah ? but it is really great) i even have natures music with sounds of rain thunter the sea the wind with instrumental music. Music is everywhere and in everything.

i tend to disagree with both of you.
Music is an expression and something that touches your heart and soul. Music is not the words is the melody and melody can never be shit. As for the TASTE of cypriots and yours and everybody elses is something u can not argue or judge because is a matter of PERSONAL OPINION. you dont like what other people like and you think is shit and they (maybe me too) dont like what you like and think is shit.

Well said Joan. Anyone coming up with that kind of a comment is obviously a very imature person. It's like saying that the British and Americans have shit taste in food. Well..... you know what I meen.

I believe in any country anywhere in the world a good tune is still a good tune, i have heard some great music from all over the world, and some crap ones too, a lot of it is personal taste, but every now and again a great one that appeals to the masses everywhere pops up, and blows us all away.

Joan, music is my full time job. I play the piano and sing in 5 star hotel piano bars at nights (6 nights a week, all year round) and try to write music in the daytime.

I like Yiannis and George Skaroulis...Bocelli is part of my collection for sure...and sounds from nature birds and waves are in my collection ... I will try rain, thunder,dolfin and whales one day

And yes you are right i have songs from every kind of music but that doesnt mean that I am a big fan of that kind of music but some of the songs really touch me.
