Great pics guys thanks for sharing them...does anyone know which ones are of Limasol and would you have any more?? maybe the 1930 to 1940 period?? would be most appreciated.

There are old Limassol photos (with their stories) on this thread but they are dated 1878 >>

I have Limassol photos for the period you inquire but they are in a book by Heigaz Mangian (which i have not had time to scan)
Are you by any chance from Limassol?

Thanks iceman much appreciated but I cannot see anything related to Limasol or anything to do with the Turkish Cypriot areas again in Limasol. We are from a village outside of Limasol.

Thanks again for the pics, Halil. The one showing the silk industry was good. I was able to show the manufacture of silk as a cottage inustry. Ah, memories. I wonder if they still produce silk in this way?
