Is that the same muminTurk from actanews.org ?

Check out muminTurks's other video "Cyprus Genocide " http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LwDDaCjMTM !
At 18 seconds you will see a poster from "Turk 1 Association" which states "over 12,000 murdered by Greek Cypriots in Cyprus 1955-1974".

That figure is agross exageration by any standard. But I find it significant the statement only says killed. Not Turks killed. I wonder if he menas All Cypriots? He is a hot head. Numbers are always a weapon, ehether they are true or false. It happens on both sides. These figures dont make sense. More exact figures were published on this forum. I reckon they are more reliable. Need to do some searching. You tube is not the best tool for facts. Thats entertainment for you.

There were very few such cases. The main reason for the similar DNA is the fact that most TCs are actually GCs that changed religion during the Ottoman rule in order to be treated better. Many of them reverted back to Christianity after the English took over, but not all. Actually even until the 1950s-60s there were many TCs who had Greek as their first language.

Correct, and their name is "LINOVAMBAKOI"

Linovamvakoi? I wonder where the term came from. I have never come across it before.

I have met several Turkish Cypriots in London who had Greek as their first language. It was strange to sometimes hear one of them turn to another asking for the meaning of a Turkish word!

But why be surprised at this. The poet Vincenzo Cornaro who wrote Erotokritos was Venetian. Yet when he went to Venice to present his poem he had to take his brother along because he (Vincenzo) did not speak Italian.
