GR gave a source that itself quoted another document that is not availbel online from the UN online document libraries. My quotes were from this SAME UN document that does not exist online from UN document libraries (currently). The source in BOTH cases is EXACTLY the same and its verfiablity via online UN provided documents is the SAME.

Piratis wrote:Maybe. But you should be the last one complaining. The last time I tried to talk to you about the whole truth you rejected it.

One word. Bollocks.

Piratis wrote:Do you have all SG reports about Cyprus? Or that one (or few) in particular. If you have just one or a few out of many, then why and how those exactly?

I have all the ones that are available online from UN online document service and some of the ones that are not availble online yet. I am constantly adding to this colloection of unavailable ones as I can. I seek ALL of those that are not available to me online from the UN.

If you ask nicely I will happily share them with you or anyone else though I do so via a site that is not allowed to be mentioned here so you will have to ask in private and prob via pm.

So you give me the example of UK, and then when I say I accept what they have there, you reject it

Ok Erolz, everyone here can see that I am the one who is willing to accept a democratic system as it exists in other democratic countries, while what you want is to force in Cyprus is what suits you and only you and exists nowhere else. There is nothing so "atypical" in Cyprus. We are not the only mutli-ethnic country, and we are not the only country that we had a conflict.

So here it is again for you:

These elements define the fundamental elements of all modern democracies, no matter how varied in history, culture, and economy. Despite their enormous differences as nations and societies, the essential elements of constitutional government--majority rule coupled with individual and minority rights, and the rule of law--can be found in Canada and Costa Rica, France and Botswana, Japan and India.

Anyways, it seems we will never agree. There is no point in repeating the same things one million times.

What exists as the only legal thing, no matter how much you or I like it, is the Republic of Cyprus as agreed in 1960. Since we can not agree on anything else then it is either you accept RoC or continuation of the war. What is going to be?

You accept RoC, refugees go back to their homes, everybody gets their legal rights, problem solved.

You choose war and the illegal occupation, then you illegally keep under occupation our land, but as a consequence we keep all the recognition as well as the right to defend the sovereignty and the borders of our country with all means possible. (and be sure the time we will exercise this right will come)

Don't forget that you are the ones acting illegally and criminally, not us.

So if you thought you had the upper hand and that you could force what you want, forget about it. We will fight for justice until the end. The illegal occupation will end either you like it or not, and Cyprus will finally be liberated from the invading Turks.

Would you chose True Democracy we have come to know in the West, or would you choose a Banana Republic kind of Democracy.?

If I lived on Mars and mars was made up of a numerical majority of creatures that lived in mars but considered themselves earthlings and a smaller group that did not consider themselves earthlings I would not support the idea that the earthling group could in the NAME OF ALL MARTIANS, democraticaly give mars to earth and that the group that is not earthlings and does not conside it so has the same rights as a group as the earthling group does.
If the 'proposal' was for a system of canal networks that would benefit and affect all martians in the same way regadless of group then one martian one voite would do.

.

Erolz,

I think I made it clear by saying " Let me ask you a very simple question".

I guess you did not read that part.

Jesus Erolz, a simple YES or NO would have been enough. I feel like I had to became a Martian to really understand your answer.

Christ man, I got Martian Antennas growing out of my head already.

Good thing I did not use the Planet Uranus for an example instead of Mars.

I hate to think what would be growing on my head as we speak.

erolz studied in the renowned Bollocks University where he earned a BS (Bull Shit) degree in crapology. During his studies he was the leader of the Fartenity. These days he is a practicing Diarrhean and a close friend of Al Toilet. So don't dare dispute what he is saying! He knows his shit!!! :P

A very good attempt with a very humorous ending by Erol to counter my post/s on the issue but one that gets no cookie because...

Given that I have ONLY utilized the following section of that core document…

"The Turkish Cypriot leaders have adhered to a rigid stand against any measures which might involve having members of the two communities live and work together, or which might place Turkish Cypriots in situations where they would have to acknowledge the authority of Government agents. Indeed, since the Turkish Cypriot leadership is committed to physical and geographical separation of the communities as a political goal, it is not likely to encourage activities by Turkish Cypriots which may be interpreted as demonstrating the merits of an alternative policy. The result has been a seemingly deliberate policy of self-segregation by the Turkish Cypriots" (S/6426).

…then you really should concentrate on that and forget about the rest of the core document’s contents because they are irrelevant to the issue or have you forgotten what the issue is Erol?

The question is HAS THE SECRETARY-GENERAL OF THE UN (being the Burmese diplomat U Thant who served during Nov 1961 and Dec 1971) MADE THIS STATEMENT VERBALLY OR IN WRITING WHILE IN OFFICE?

Of course the answer to that lies in the UN document S/6426 which you have failed to post to support your case despite boasting to have a copy or access to it!

The question that now begs to be answered is why hasn't Erol posted a relevant section of S/6426 to swiftly destroy GR's "alleged" SG quote and thus win this battle?

There are two possible answers to that dear readers...

1. Erol being a veteran master propagandist is bluffing and does NOT have the S/6426 document!

2. Erol the veteran master propagandist DOES indeed have document S/6426 but its contents are damning and prove GR right!

Take your pick Erol...
