Russian billionaire invests in northern Cyprus

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Don't they know that illegally exploiting Greek Cypriot land in the occupied areas is a criminal offense regardless of who is doing it?

I'm still in the process of figuring out who is behind this project and these rumors. I couldn't tell you what they know or don't know!

What I do know is that it has nothing to do with Mr Abramovich or Chelsea (notice the correct spelling? I'm sure their misspelling is intentional!). But it does look like they're trying to use Mr Abramovich's name to drum up publicity.

No, he was not there in March and April, and no, he has no projects in Cyprus! And no, he doesn't want to buy Lanarca airport or any other!

It's amazing to me how much people all over the world (this year, there have been rumors in Romania, Montenegro and as usual in England) seem to think Abramovich wants to buy their property!

Most of the time, people are just looking for free publicity. Or maybe someone thinks all rich Russians are Abramovich?

I swear this story did the rounds over a year ago. Just goes to show, one website posts the story and all the rest copies it. Like the whole FARE and Cetinkaya story, The Cyprus Mail just copied and pasted what was written in a Turkish website...taking it as the truth.

Do journalists even exist any more.

How much do you want to bet?

So... again, I appeal to you fine Cypriots. Help me out. Anyone have any idea who the developer of this Chelsey Village project is?

On the net, all you find are property agents.
