Archbishop Chrysostomos B'

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

If there are sheep that will do whatever the Archbishop or "the party" or the AngloAmericans etc say, thats not the fault of the one who is expressing the opinion, but that of the fools that blindly accept it.

In democracy everybody is free to say his opinion, and beyond that the citizens should be smart enough (and free) to make their own judgment.

It is the ease with which you said that you respect their wish. If it is wrong then tell them they are wrong and sod the democracy. It is your democratic right. Help them realise the wrong in what they are doing.

And how more strongly can I say it to them, when I say that accepting whatever some priest says makes them fools?

But if they want to be sheep and just do whatever somebody tells them, then thats their right in the end.

If I say "sod democracy, I know that I am right and I am going to force what I believe is right" that is dangerous. Democracy is not perfect, but if we say "sod democracy" in the end instead of having what we believe is right we might have somebody like Chrisostomos ruling us with his 5% of popular vote.

i actually feel sometimes that i detest this guy ... i go to church ... i hear all kinds of corruption stories about the guy ...then he tells us cypriots in cyprus ..to pray for rain ....

it doesnt rain when the people are far from god ..when the people become corrupt .....well atleast when i ask and pray for something from God .. i normally get it .. so i will pray for forgiveness for all of us ..and for Rain ...in october ...
