Paliometoxo, please refrain from generalisations. Not all Turkish Cypriots will be throwing rocks. The situation gets more complicated in that the people throwing rocks could be Turks who, may be feeling threatened by a unification as they may be taken back to Turkey. Just like not all people on her claiming to be Turkish Cypriots are they could be Turks pretending to be Cypriots to spread propaganda and promote ill feelings between Cypriots.

Frankly I believe there is no Cyprus problem, each individual family need to decide what is best for them and take action. If a Turkish speaking Cypriot family from Paphos has lots of property that they can capitalise on and the same family has been crossing to the suth for work each day for the last 3 years then they can make the decision to move to their property in Paphis and live a descent life.

A little more than the choice a greek speaking family from the north has.

I hope we have not seen the last of you.You ought to stay and help us come to terms with all this bitternes and hatred.Despite all,forums like these are bringing people together. And people ,even when fighting,are communicating...And getting to know each other.And hopefully realising we are all the same .We are born in the same way,we grow up in the same way,we multipy in the same way,and we die in the same way.

And I think it is becoming obvious to most people here that we have stuffed up big time together. We turned back the only opportunity of becoming a nation together. We fell for the same fanatical nationalism trap and did great wrongs to each other.

We are also realising slowly that we have been served very badly by our so called "leaders". And we have presented Cyprus on a plate to foreign interests together. And we are staring defeat in the face together. That unless we start to find some empathy and compassion and forgiveness for each other,we have no chance of ever healing our wounds together.

And i hope it is becoming evident that unless we start trusting and helping each other,we will lose not only our own unique identity but the whole of our country as well...

This is a 2 way thing and not just the Turks throwing rocks at Greeks...They throw rocks at eachother and it's just a normal part of guarding the borders.
