I'm surprised that the "TRNC's Information Department" has not taken advantage of this Hijacking incident to say "If we had Direct Flights to Iran, then these poor Al Qaeda would not have had to resort to committing such crimes".

I guess the "Information Office" is closed on the weekends.

I did not notice the USA bombing the UK to kill off the 'home grown' Al Qaeda, where they were more successful.

I did not notice the USA bombing the UK to kill off the 'home grown' Al Qaeda, where they were more successful.
